Exalted Cyclops

Before he became a Democrat Senator in the late 1950’s, Robert Byrd organized the Sophia, West Virginia chapter of the “Ku Klux Klan” and was later elected “Exalted Cyclops” — the highest position in the local Klan — by a “unanimous” vote.

In a 1944 letter penned to Mississippi Senator Theodore G. Bilbo (D-Miss), Byrd wrote, “I shall never fight in the armed forces with a negro by my side… Rather I should die a thousand times, and see Old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the wilds.”

Two years later Byrd reaffirmed his devotion to the Klan. In a letter to a Grand Wizard he wrote, “The Klan is needed today as never before, and I am anxious to see its rebirth here in West Virginia and in every state in the nation.”

So why did Byrd “leave” the KKK?

Because belonging to the Klan “inhibits your operations in the political arena.”

Here is Hillary Clinton “praising” Democrat Senator Robert Byrd, who had been a Klan organizer and leader, as a “mentor and friend.”

Let’s hope Hillary will follow the “advise” from the late Robert Byrd and “remove” herself from the presidential “election” since she agrees with the “elimination” of black people.
