French Elections

The final round of France’s parliamentary elections yesterday was disastrous for French President Emmanuel Macron. He clearly wants to be the strongman of Europe. Yet now he’s in a weaker position than any president in the history of the fifth republic.

Macron’s Ensemble coalition won only 245 seats, with 289 necessary for a majority. This is the first time in the history of the fifth republic that the president has failed to win a majority in Parliament. Le Monde called it a “nightmare scenario” and a “stunning blow.”

Bilderberg Group

While the Bilderberg Group may not be the shadow government of conspiracy theorist lore, it is still one of the most influential groups in the world.

A secretive group of some of the world’s top politicians, bankers and businessmen met in Washington, D.C., last week for its 68th annual conference. Since its inaugural meeting in May 1954, the Bilderberg Group has been an annual forum for elites from Europe and North America to discuss important issues away from the eyes and ears of the press. They had a lot to talk about this year as they have not met since before covid-19.

D-Day Invasion

And why God is no longer giving America miracle victories.

Today marks the 78th anniversary of the largest amphibious landing in human history. The D-Day invasion was an immense operation—and an immense risk. It could have been the disaster that lost the Allies the war. Instead, it was the beginning of the end for Adolf Hitler and World War II.

In the French town of Colleville-sur-Mer this morning, almost two dozen D-Day veterans gathered for the commemoration ceremony as fighter jets flew over the American cemetery. During his commemoration address, United States Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley told the assembled veterans that the ongoing war in Ukraine was about honoring them as the world comes together “against a determined invader.”

Instigated by a petition from designated terrorist group CAIR, the street in front of the Saudi Embassy in Washington DC has been renamed after the Muslim Brotherhood operative posing as Washington Post quasi journalist, Jamal Khashoggi, who was allegedly murdered at the Saudi Embassy in Istanbul.
