The End of Britain

Posted in uncategorized with tags , , on November 16, 2021 by andelino

This coming February 6, Elizabeth II will have been Queen for 70 years. She’s the longest-reigning ruler in British history and in the world today. She has been a remarkable example of class, duty and service to her people. Sadly, she represents an era in British history that is virtually gone. And she is now 95 years old. Recent health issues have kept her from public engagements. Many people are concerned.

“The Queen is an irreplaceable constant in the life of the British nation,” British journalist Melanie Phillips wrote. “Her public appearances aren’t just the exercise of her role as the symbol of the nation. As so many feel so viscerally, she is the nation. With her unrivaled sense of duty, her stoicism and her emotional restraint, many see in the Queen the embodiment of a Britain whose cultural identity is inexorably fraying. Many feel in their bones that when the Queen eventually passes, Britain will just not be the same. Despite the fact that the monarchy will continue, something of infinite value will have been lost.”

Europe Is Shaking

The fall of Kabul is a crisis for Europe. Not just because they are watching their soldiers return home in defeat. Not just because it could create a terrorist haven. Not just because it could trigger a new refugee crisis. It is a crisis because it shakes the foundation of European security: the belief that America will protect its allies. Europe right now is in the same position the Afghan government was in six months ago.

The Afghan military had nearly 300,000 soldiers. Behind them stood fewer than 5,000 American soldiers stationed in the country. The presence of these relatively few American soldiers, as we now see, was critical. It was, above all, a promise. America was committed enough to keep its personnel in the country, meaning that if the enemy wanted to overrun the Afghan military, it would inevitably run into America. That promise enabled the Afghans to control most of the country.

Then America pulled its soldiers out, suddenly, precipitously, and even with thousands of Americans still inside. This showed that the promise no longer stood. And the Afghan military collapsed immediately.

European Union countries have 2.4 million soldiers. Behind them stand 55,000 American soldiers stationed within their borders. In a full-scale conventional war with Russia, this would be too few men to defend a continent. But they symbolize a promise. Most of Europe is part of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, and the agreement is written in black and white: If a NATO member is attacked, America will defend it.

This promise has enabled geopolitical pygmies like Estonia to flourish in Russia’s shadow. It has enabled nations to save vast amounts of money on their militaries and to focus instead on building generous welfare states or, in Germany’s case, to build a world-leading export economy.

After the fall of Kabul, this foundation of European security looks far shakier. If America forsakes its Afghan allies so completely, could it do the same to others? China hopes so. The editorial board of the Global Times, China’s state-run news agency, wrote this threat to Taiwan: “From what happened in Afghanistan, they should perceive that once a war breaks out in the Straits, the island’s defense will collapse in hours and the U.S. military won’t come to help. Government authorities will quickly surrender, while some high-level officials may flee by plane.”

Closer to home, Ukraine is similarly worried. “The nature of the American withdrawal from Afghanistan has set off alarm bells throughout Ukraine and served as a wake-up call for anyone who still believes that continued Western support can be relied upon indefinitely,” wrote Alyona Getmanchuk, director of the New Europe Center.

It’s a question being asked around the world. British commentator Melanie Phillips warned, “America’s allies can now see that the U.S. is a faithless friend, the weak link in the chain of Western defenses and with untold consequences for their own security.”

Gérard Araud, former French ambassador to the U.S., wrote, “Europeans have nothing to expect from the United States in Ukraine, Syria, Libya and the Sahel beyond diplomatic support. Europe is in flames, but the U.S. fireman will not come.”

Those fires could break out more and more often. “If a band of brutal Islamist extremists can defeat the United States, China will have no doubt that with time, resources and good organization, it will also prevail against the United States in its neighborhood,” former U.S. Ambassador to NATO Kurt Volker wrote. “Russia will not take seriously any threat to push back on its military aggression and absorption of territory belonging to its neighbors. ISIS and al Qaeda will use the Taliban victory to renew calls for jihad against the United States.”

It is America’s commitment that keeps Russia out of Europe. And over the last five years, the U.S. has been the main force restraining Iran and radical Islam. The Afghanistan debacle sends a lightning-bolt message: Europe will have to deal with the problems created by these emboldened powers on its own.

That doesn’t mean that this realization will hit Europe with enough force to get it to act right away. Europeans have enjoyed U.S. protection without having to pay for it. It will probably take a crisis or two to shake them from that torpor. “I doubt that Kabul will be the wake-up call they need,” said Araud. But because of Afghanistan, those crises could be just around the corner.

The biggest fear about the Taliban’s return is that it could lead to another 9/11. If it does, there’s every chance that this 9/11 occurs on European soil. In the last decade, about 70 people have been killed in Islamist terrorist attacks in the United States. In Europe, it’s nearly 400.

The Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan has released hundreds of imprisoned al Qaeda fanatics, including some known to have been plotting to attack the West. A United Nations Security Council report warned, “Large numbers of al Qaeda fighters and other foreign extremist elements aligned with the Taliban are located in various parts of Afghanistan.”

Perhaps even more dangerous are Iran’s links to the new regime. Iran sponsors numerous terrorist groups around the world. Working together, what will they accomplish? Compounding this is the threat of a new migrant crisis.

Even before the Taliban took over, 30,000 people fled Afghanistan each week. Sybille Schnehage, an aid worker in Afghanistan, warned, “We can assume that up to 3 million Afghans will make their way to Europe in the foreseeable future.”

Less than half that number of refugees from around the world—1.3 million—arrived in Europe in 2015. The resulting political crisis shook the foundations of governments across the Continent and sparked an outbreak of political extremism not seen since the 1930s. Can European politics as we know it survive the arrival of 3 million Afghans? What if, as has occurred repeatedly in Europe, that mass of refugees harbors even a few terrorists?

Last time around, Europe “solved” the refugee crisis by paying Turkey to prevent immigrants from traveling to Europe. But Turkey already has 3.7 million Syrian refugees and 300,000 Afghan refugees. Refugees are now a political issue in Turkey too. This time, that solution may not be available.

The potential for a new migrant crisis immediately arrests the attention of EU leaders. The day after Kabul fell, French President Emmanuel Macron warned, “We must anticipate and protect ourselves against significant irregular migratory flows that would endanger those who use them and feed trafficking of all kinds.” A foreign-policy spokesman for one of the European Parliament’s largest parties quickly warned “We must now do everything we can to ensure that those fleeing get protection close to home.” In other words: Make sure they don’t come here!

Considering these catastrophic consequences, it’s no wonder Europe is livid about the way America handled its evacuation.

France 24 reported: “European leaders looked on with dismay at the rapid collapse of two decades of a U.S.-led Western campaign in the country.” “Across Europe, officials have reacted with a mix of disbelief and a sense of betrayal,” wrote Politico. “Even those who cheered Biden’s election and believed he could ease the recent tensions in the trans-Atlantic relationship said they regarded the withdrawal from Afghanistan as nothing short of a mistake of historic magnitude.”

Afghanistan was Germany’s longest, most extensive military mission since World War II. The Germans responded to America’s request for help in Afghanistan 20 years ago. Now they feel their sacrifice has been casually tossed aside. Chairman of the Bundeswehr Association André Wüstner called the situation in Afghanistan “shameful” and claimed that veterans would be “enormously furious.”

Armin Laschet, leader of the Christian Democratic Union and a leading candidate to become Germany’s next chancellor, called Afghanistan “the biggest fiasco” since the founding of NATO.

All this means that European countries must do more to defend themselves. Politico wrote: “At a time when some European leaders, including French President Emmanuel Macron, have been pushing for the bloc to pursue a security policy less dependent on America, Afghanistan is bound to be used as evidence for why ‘strategic autonomy’ is necessary.” These leaders reason that if they don’t boost their independent military power right now, they will be forced to when crises worsen and the U.S. declines to step up.

America is allowing itself to be pushed out of the picture. Having once surrounded Iran and much of the Middle East, it has withdrawn from Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia, it has withdrawn from Iraq, and now it has disastrously withdrawn from Afghanistan. Iran is free to push Europe even harder.

But the Europeans won’t respond in the same “weak” way as the Americans. Once finally forced to act, Europe will reclaim its “strategic autonomy” by mobilizing a war machine that sweeps through the Middle East like a flood.

True Lesson of Afghanistan

The world watched in terror, live, as 19 Islamist terrorists flew three hijacked jetliners into the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon, and a fourth crashed in Pennsylvania. With the rest of the world, a changed world, we watched it on television in shock. That day, 2,996 Americans were murdered. Now images are out there of the carnage being wrought by the same Islamist regime that helped perpetrate 9/11. And now, 20 years into a war spawned by that atrocity—which is ending with even more atrocities—we see how bad it is getting—and how bad it’s going to get.

The 9/11 terrorist attacks shocked Americans into action. Church attendance spiked, patriotism surged, political parties temporarily set aside their differences, allies lined up, and President George W. Bush delivered a rousing speech, saying, “The terrorists are traitors to their own faith, trying, in effect, to hijack Islam itself. Our enemy is a radical network of terrorists and every government that supports them. Our war on terror begins with al Qaeda, but it does not end there. It will not end until every terrorist group of global reach has been found, stopped and defeated.”

President Bush targeted al Qaeda, the Islamist terrorist group led by Osama bin Laden, and told Afghanistan’s Taliban regime to hand him over and expel members of his group. The Taliban refused, and on Oct. 7, 2001, United States forces invaded Afghanistan. Operation Enduring Freedom forced them from power. By Dec. 17, 2001, Time magazine ran a cover reading “The Last Days of the Taliban.” In the 20 years since those words were written, the U.S. has spent $2.3 trillion on the War in Afghanistan. It has sacrificed more than 6,000 American soldiers and military contractors. The goal was to stop the Taliban from returning to power.

Now the Biden administration has abruptly pulled the plug. “We did not go to Afghanistan to nation build,” Joe Biden said on July 8. “It’s the right and the responsibility of the Afghan people alone to decide their future and how they want to run their country.” He then set a September 11 deadline for troop withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Many people immediately thought of the historically shameful and embarrassing American retreat from Saigon, Vietnam, 46 years ago, and the iconic image of dozens of people crowding onto a roof to try to board a single helicopter to escape. When asked about it, Biden said, “There’s going to be no circumstance where you see people being lifted off the roof of an embassy of the United States from Afghanistan. It is not at all comparable.” That was in July. Now it’s August. We are now seeing U.S. helicopters reportedly lifting people off of the roof of an embassy of the United States in Afghanistan.

The U.S. military left Bagram Airfield in the dead of night without even notifying the Afghan military and government that we helped set up. We left so fast that we left behind thousands of civilian vehicles and hundreds of armored vehicles. Now the Taliban has conquered the capital of Afghanistan and terrorist insurgents are posing with ammunition, Humvee’s and even Black Hawk helicopters.

So much for “our war on terror will not end until every terrorist group of global reach has been found, stopped and defeated.” After 20 years of war, the only thing the U.S. has accomplished in Afghanistan is to provide the terrorists who blew up the World Trade Center with new and better weapons for future attacks and to show the world we really are as weak as we seem.

The official newspaper of the Chinese Communist Party said America’s defeat “proves that Washington is an ‘unreliable partner’ that always abandons its partners or allies to seek self-interest.” Both American allies and its enemies know that the most powerful military on Earth does not have the will to defeat a group of nomadic tribesmen. This fact will certainly embolden Iran, China, Russia and other enemies to stand against America. And why wouldn’t it? What a shameful debacle we are perpetrating.

“In the unholy armory of the enemies of the West, their single-most important weapon is their understanding that the West is no longer willing to do what it needs to do to defend itself,” wrote political commentator Melanie Phillips in The Rout of America.” “It is no longer willing to be in it for the long haul. It no longer has the stomach for a fight. In baleful contrast, jihadis take the longest possible view. They have been waging holy war against the enemies of Islam—as they view them—since the seventh century; and for them this holy war won’t end until the whole world is under Islamic rule or the world itself ends, whichever comes first.”

Now those jihadis are taking over Afghanistan, promising their fighters “wives” as young as 15 from among the people they conquer, and executing Afghans who helped America and its allies in an attempt to build a better nation for themselves. What the whole world is witnessing is the moral, societal, political, financial, military disintegration of the American empire!

This disintegration has intensified dramatically in these 20 years. The fact that the Biden administration unilaterally surrendered to the Taliban is living proof of how far America has fallen. The Afghanistan catastrophe is an abject, shameful dishonor for America. Our nation has lost 2,448 soldiers and spent $273 million per day every day for 20 years on that war—a total of over $2 trillion. Yet our soldiers were evacuated in the darkness of night to leave this nation to barbarians gathering up girls age 15 and even younger and giving them to their fighters as “wives.”

After we hastily pulled out, it took the Islamist terrorists a matter of mere days to conquer the nation. Now America is being overrun in Kabul even before we can finish retreating from it. We are scrambling to try to get even the last of our own people out of there—a replay of the humiliation we suffered when we pulled out of Saigon, Vietnam. Now, as then, millions of people are going to be greatly persecuted and killed. Children and women are going to be abused, raped and murdered.

And America will leave behind one of the biggest terrorist nations in the world. Especially because of the air base, jets, armored vehicles, ammunition and other weapons and equipment America just abandoned—not to mention all the Afghan soldiers we trained who proved that they have no loyalty to anyone but themselves. What a miserable deed by the American “superpower”! This is as shameful as anything America has ever done.

America is not just declining, it is dying. Other powers around the world see this clearly. They are taking advantage of this and preparing to replace American dominance with their own dominance. America is being destroyed before our eyes. Many are now in a state of open despair.

There is a sore lesson staring us in the face here. It points not just to the Afghanistan war started 20 years ago—but even back to Vietnam, and Korea and even World War II before that!

America’s humiliation in Afghanistan at the hands of Taliban fighters should alarm us all—and wake us up to a terrifying truth. Why is this happening? Because, as Leviticus 26:19 warns, God has broken the pride of our power. Yes, God is punishing us for our sins! That is why we can have such overwhelming military power, yet be so pathetically weak.

Then in verse 20, God warns, “Your strength shall be spent in vain.” Does anything more graphically illustrate this than America waging an impotent war for two full decades at such high cost and evacuating in such disgrace?

The radical left want to blame all our troubles on things like climate change. But that is just a diabolical distraction from the lesson God is showing us so clearly: “We as a people are disobeying God and facing the dire consequences. And because we refuse to acknowledge this, these wretched events are going to get far worse before this is over.”

Americans are willfully ignorant of the facts. It is God who gave America its power in the first place. It is God whom Americans have turned their backs on. And it is God who is allowing America to decline and who is actively punishing us in order to show us our sins.

There is a lesson in the Afghanistan catastrophe, if only we will learn it this bitter lesson, repent from our sins, and turn to God.

When President Trump decided he would speak at Mount Rushmore on the eve of “Independence Day” to commemorate the birth of the United States, the “cancel culture mob” and the media immediately expanded its “onslaught “on American history to target one of this nation’s “greatest” monuments.

Look closely at the reaction of the leftist mainstream media. Listen closely at the words of President Trump’s speech. There is something massive, something inevitable, churning in America. It is impossible that it won’t affect you and me.

Mount Rushmore National Memorial depicts U.S. presidents “George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln,” 60-foot-high sculptures in a granite South Dakota mountainside. The sculptor chose these four men to represent the “birth, growth, development and preservation of this nation.”

During the most recent election, when Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders visited, he stared admiringly at the monument and said, “This is our country at its very best.” CNN associated Sanders with the “majesty” of a monument of “four great American presidents.”

But reporting on President Trump’s July 3 visit, this same news organization called Rushmore “a monument of two slave owners and on land wrestled away from Native Americans.” The New York Times characterized these presidents as having a complicated legacy and said the monument is built on “stolen land by a racist sculptor with ties to the Ku Klux Klan.”

Other news organizations are also repeating the idea that Mount Rushmore celebrates “slavery, racism and white supremacy;” they are amplifying the debate over tearing it down; and they are associating “racism” with these past presidents so that they can associate “racism” with the current president.

Where are the “defenders” of America’s history?

President Trump’s Mount Rushmore speech was a good answer to that question. Between the “cancel culture mob” and the destruction of American history stands one man: Donald Trump. But it wasn’t just the visual of President Trump standing before those scorned presidents: “It was also the content of his speech.”

I encourage you to “read” the entirety of President Trump’s speech of July 3, 2020.

This was a “wartime” speech! This was a response to a “domestic enemy” that is attacking American institutions from within! And before you even read what President Trump said, you can deduce from the outright “hostility” of the news media reaction that it was the most “impactful speech of his presidency” thus far.

On the Joy Reid show on MSNBC, guests slammed the speech, with one calling the setting at Mount Rushmore “the most grandiose symbol of U.S. imperialism on Earth.” Guest host Tiffany Cross said the Fourth of July was a celebration of independence for “white men.”

The Washington Post published “It Is Time to Reconsider the Global Legacy of July 4, 1776,” in which author Elizabeth Kolsky revised American history in an attempt that would have made American socialist historian Howard Zinn proud. Her piece struggles to make any sense, but she made sure to drop in some attention-grabbers, like claiming that American democracy “was founded as a slave society.”

Think about what we are facing now compared to just one month ago. In one month, “radical leftists” like these reporters have come out in force to convince us that Mount Rushmore, the American flag, the national anthem and the Fourth of July itself are “evil symbols of white supremacy.”

If you accept those symbols—as the huge majority of Americans have accepted those symbols for the huge majority of American history—you are now a “racist.” If you defend those symbols, as President Trump is doing, leftists will compare you to members of the “Ku Klux Klan.”

Search for “Trump” and “Rushmore” on the Internet, and look at the way the main stories from the main news organizations characterize the visit: “Trump Pushes Racial Division, Flouts Virus Rules at the Foot of Mount Rushmore” (Associated Press); “Trump Uses Fourth of July Celebration to Stoke a Culture War” (Los Angeles Times); “Trump Uses Mount Rushmore Speech to Deliver Divisive Culture War Message” (New York Times); “At Mount Rushmore, Trump Digs Deeper Into Nation’s Divisions” (U.S. News); “Trump Plumbed New Depths of Depravity This Fourth of July” (Washington Post editorial board).

The Post said the president chose to center his reelection campaign “on appeals to racism,” that his speech was an “unhinged attack on the movement for racial and social justice,” and that he “poses the greatest threat to American democratic values.” The journalists and editors of the largest and most powerful news organizations in America called President Trump’s speech outrageous,” divisive,” fascist and more.

At this point, it’s obvious that America is in a “cultural” civil war! And it’s no exaggeration to say that reading the major news media, you would think that President Trump started it! You would think that what he is doing is crazy, outrageous and dangerous. But what are these “outrageous” and “divisive” actions of his? He dares to “defend” American presidents, the American flag, American institutions and American history.

The fact that this is “controversial” tells you which side is “radical”, which side is “divisive”, which side is weaponizing “race”, which side is on the “attack”, which side is deeply “depraved”, which side is the greatest “threat.”

The Wall Street Journal editorial board is one of the few to publish what should be obvious and not even controversial. It wrote that Mr. Trump’s July 3 address was “one of the best speeches of his presidency” and that it was “only divisive if you haven’t been paying attention to the divisions now being stoked on the political left across American institutions.”

Radical leftists are “rabidly, vulgarly, destructively” desecrating the memories, the histories and the principles left to us by Washington, Jefferson, Roosevelt, Lincoln and the other great Americans. They are attacking the “principles of the Constitution.” They are attacking even the basic “human concept of rule of law!” And they say it’s President Trump who is “divisive?”

This aggressive reaction to President Trump’s July 3 speech tells you a lot about the “radical left.” It is now powerful enough and bold enough to openly “assault” American history and American “principles” en masse. It is now audacious enough to claim that “destroying” American history unifies us, and “defending” American history divides us.

Melanie Phillips summed it up succinctly: “Trump wasn’t stoking a culture war or exploiting social divisions. He was instead responding to the culture war now being waged upon core American and Western values of freedom of expression and the rule of law, and declaring that he would not allow it to succeed.”

If you’ve been paying attention to the news even over just the last month, you know that the president is responding to an all-out “assault” on America’s history, government and culture. And you know that in that battle, “he stands alone.”

President Trump was bold enough to say publicly and frankly what is underway in America. “Our nation is witnessing a merciless campaign to wipe out our history, defame our heroes, erase our values, and indoctrinate our children,” he said, adding that the “cancel culture” intimidation movement is “driving people from their jobs, shaming dissenters, and demanding total submission from anyone who disagrees.”

“This is the very definition of totalitarianism.” He also said, “The radical ideology attacking our country advances under the banner of social justice, but in truth, it would demolish both justice and society. Make no mistake. This left-wing cultural revolution is designed to overthrow the American Revolution.” And he warned: “Their goal is not a better America; their goal is to end America.”

These statements are true! They’re not even that controversial. Look at the news: “Do you see defamation, indoctrination, totalitarianism, radical ideology, a cultural revolution?” What you are seeing is an attempt to end America! A higher authority than President Trump has revealed that to be the case, as we’ll see in a moment.

Mr. Trump has gotten closer to “exposing” this problem, and has taken a stronger “stand” against it, than any other politician in America. He is exposing the leftists’ “motives”, and it is driving them “insane.”

Don’t think that it’s just rioters and wacky activists who are fighting this revolution. It’s people leading massive news organizations, mammoth technology companies, higher education, extensive spy agencies, the powerful deep state. They are making hate-filled, rabid socialism the new authority, and constitutional, moral tradition the new dissent.

Do you think this is only the usual political bickering? Do you think that this is not leading to an actual, violent revolution? Do you think America is immune from that? Do you think this will just go away? Do you think this won’t affect you?

A month ago, did you think you were “racist because you like the American flag?” Things are changing fast in America. This “culture war” has been building for a long time, and now it is breaking out into the open. But it has only begun to affect your life!

And the “conservatives” are losing that war. Most of the powerful ones aren’t bold enough to expose this “radical” movement for what it is! Many of them are too “afraid” of the mob. Yet President Trump, for all practical purposes alone, is boldly “confronting” it.

For eight years under President Obama, the forces of the “radical” left were on the march, virtually unchecked. Even Republican leaders “caved” in, and that was after they had taken “control” of Congress and had a lot of “power” to stop the president!

Donald Trump has proved himself willing to “take a stand” where others have not. It is quite something to behold him “resisting” these anti-American forces! He has “inspired” a few other leaders to “challenge” the radical left and help expose it for what it is.

When you compare what this president is doing to what his predecessor did, there has been a “clear” change in direction, one that will “slow” the speed at which America is being “pulled” apart. He is not “trashing” the Constitution as Obama did.

President Trump is taking a stand. What if Obama’s chosen successor had won the presidency in 2016? Imagine the “cancel-culture mob, the statue-destroyers, the rioters having free reign over the nation, aided and abetted not only by the media, education and the deep state but by the highest office in the land!”

Had Hillary Clinton been elected, the “destructive” trends that unfolded during the Obama presidency would have continued “unchecked”, and they surely would have intensified. Many people believe it would have meant an “end to our constitutional republic!”

Notice what Melanie Philips wrote following Mr. Trump’s speech on July 3:

“I still believe as I did in November 2016 that if Mr. Trump were to lose the presidential election to the Democratic Party, America and the West would be lost. The slim chance of their surviving this great crisis for civilization would be snuffed out altogether if the morally bankrupt and venomously West-bashing left were to come to power in America.”

It’s almost inevitable, not that America will survive, but that it will be blotted out! That’s what this noted journalist is saying. And when America falls, free civilization will fall!

Read the president’s speech. He is warning the American people that they are in a “fight for the survival of the nation!”

The people who want to “tear it apart” have become numerous and extremely powerful. They want to put you under their rule. The fact that they are now bringing that agenda out into the open means they are confident that they now have enough power to openly challenge not just certain issues or political parties but everything about American government, culture and history!

They are seething with “hatred”, attacking anyone who stands in their way by accusing them of being “divisive” and UN-American! This twisted “hatred” is not going to just leave you alone and eventually disappear.

There is something “powerful” going on. President Trump knows it, but he can’t tell you exactly what is “causing” it. In fact, he and the others who are trying to “resist” this attack can’t tell you what made America “great” in the first place or why people “hate” it so much. Even the “radicals” themselves can’t tell you the fundamental “reason” they think the way they do!

The good things about America and its history came from God! And the raging “hatred” against those blessings comes from Satan! This is not just about people’s “politics”, this is about their “attitudes.” This has to do with their “spirit!”

That is why President Trump is the only one “brave” enough to confront the mob. It is critical that we “realize” why this resurgence! God Himself is pushing back against the Satan inspired forces that want to “destroy” this nation! He is exposing those forces so we can see them clearly. And He is using a man to “save” the United States for the time being.

People are beginning to “realize” what is happening in America. They are beginning to “recognize” that America’s enemies, foreign and domestic, are extremely powerful. They are beginning to realize that “radical socialism” is attempting to blot out this country!

And they admit that there is just no rational explanation for what is happening. They can see the results of a rampaging “spirit of hate” raging through the streets of America which will affect all of us, but they don’t recognize the “spirit of hate” itself, and they don’t realize that that “spirit” comes from a very real spirit being. They don’t understand God or what He is doing. They don’t realize that He is just as active in current events as He was in ancient events.

You need to understand what it is, where it comes from, what it’s surging toward. Start by reading your Bible and decide whether it reveals the reality of what is now erupting all around us.
