US Citizenship Reform

Posted in uncategorized with tags , , , , , on January 25, 2019 by andelino

Ranking members of the House Subcommittee on Immigration are putting the “final touches” on a new bill to allow nearly the entire “Third World” population to “immigrate” to the United States and become “legal or illegal” citizens.

The brilliant, new fresh “feminist” Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), “spokes-mouth” for the Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), provided details about the “legislation” which is expected to pass along party lines.

“Ms. Pelosi delegated the task of writing the legislation to me and we no longer will be doing any more half-measures immigration tactics on our borders. Walls are immoral.”

“As you can see from the pictures, there are many people that want to come to our country. Many of them are women, widows, children, and non-aggressive, young, steely, strong looking men fleeing corrupt and dangerous conditions in their native lands.”

“They are poor, hungry, and just want to work in a country that provides generous, free economic assistance for people who don’t have work or don’t want to work. But why only let in a few stragglers capable to make the long journey here? That would be unfair to those who are unable to escape war and famine. The plan is to bring all of them in and to urge them to vote.”

The “proposal” consists of letting the entire population of the following countries enter the US and be “granted” full citizenship:

  • Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
  • Syria
  • Iraq
  • Afghanistan
  • Bangladesh
  • Pakistan

The announcement was followed by “questions and answers.” The attendees were warned that it would be “racist” to ask any questions about the plan’s “cost, logistics, or its impact” on current US citizens or Government funding.

“Occasional Cortex” Alexandria “Sandy” Ocasio-Cortez from the Bronx assured the nation that the committee had thought everything through, with the same thoroughness they give to all legislation.

“We don’t foresee any major issues with the plan as written,” she said. We “just pay for it” and have boatloads of happy and healthy new voters.

When asked whether “transportation” would be provided for the approximately 850 million people that might move to the US under the new policies, she shrugged saying, “we’d probably throw that in, too.”

And what about  all the peoples of “Africa?” Why are they excluded? Sudan, Somalia, Nigeria, South Africa (except toxic whites), and so on.

Perhaps the bill requires more input from “Jew-hating” Reps. Ilhan Omar and “sewer-mouth” Rashida Tlaib.

Or then again, perhaps the bill does already “include” the peoples of Africa. I guess Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) must first “pass the bill in order to see who is in it.”

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Donald Trump might both be from New York City, but she doesn’t think he knows how to deal with a girl from the Bronx on immigration and he is also a “racist.” She won’t shake hands with Trump.

The Christian Suicide Cult 01

The Christian Suicide Cult
By Ronald Cherry

In a sermon delivered from a pulpit, a “clergyman” instructed the congregation that it was “UN-American” to oppose the immigration of “tens of thousands” of Muslims from the Middle East, possibly “millions” if the Obama administration has its way.

The clergyman “acknowledged” that there would be an inherent “danger” to Americans because of increased Muslim immigration, as we intuitively know with the “San Bernardino and Paris massacres” fresh on our minds, and also not forgetting so many other episodes of “mass murder” committed by Muslim “jihadists” against their Christian “neighbors” over the last 15 years – make that over the last 1,400 years.

The still surreal “mass murder” of nearly 3,000 Americans in “New York” at the hands of Muslim “jihadists” on 9/11/2001 seems like yesterday to me, as does the “Boston Marathon” bombing. I have not forgotten.

Incredibly, the clergyman, with a “straight face,” after pointing out the increasingly “obvious danger” from Muslim immigration and the increased “risk of maiming or death” for us and our children, said this was the “price we’d have to pay” for being Christians, while “scolding” the congregation not to “live” in fear.

The Christian Suicide Cult 02

As “justification” for this, the clergyman reminded us of the “martyred” 1st-century Roman Christians, not realizing, I suppose, that they were “helpless and disarmed” subjects of a totalitarian Roman Emperor, not “free men and women” living in a constitutional republic “dedicated” to securing the people’s “life, liberty, and creative pursuit of happiness.”

Next we were told that “gun” violence, which is actually “human” violence, in the United States is a great national “sin,” leaving us to draw the inference that American “gun ownership” is the real problem, not the “Islamic” doctrine of violent “mass-murdering jihad.”

The clergyman “enumerated” multiple episodes of mass-murder in America, including “Sandy Hook” and the recent jihads in “Chattanooga and San Bernardino,” implying that our problem in America is “gun” ownership, not “human” evil.

The Christian Suicide Cult 03

Somehow the clergyman “failed” to tell the congregation that, “despite” these recent highly publicized episodes, American “gun ownership along with concealed carry permits” have surged in recent years, while at the same time “murders and violent crime” have decreased by 25 percent.

Or that in Plano, Texas, where “gun ownership” is very high, the murder rate per capita is “0.04,” which if Plano were a nation would “rank” it 211 in murder out of 218 nations.

Throw out the “gun violence” of the largely “Democrat” big cities such as Detroit, where the “murder” rate per capita is “54.6,” and you have a nearly nonexistent problem.

I resisted the “urge to walk out” during this episode of “leftist” propaganda “disguised” as a sermon, and instead politely “shook” the clergyman’s hand “exiting” the church.

The Christian Suicide Cult 04

The “thought” crossed my mind that some of our “churches” have been perverted into “suicide” cults.

That’s not for me and my family.

Executive Amnesty

Posted in uncategorized with tags , , , , on November 22, 2014 by andelino

Executive Amnesty 00

Obama granted “Executive Amnesty” on “Mexican Revolution Day” which is on November 20th.

Coincidence? I don’t think so. This is all part of “fundamentally transforming” America to “Next Tuesday.”

Notice Obama refers to himself 31 times in 15 minutes… I, me, my… it’s all about me!

Here is a my “modified” transcript of Señor El Presidenté Barack Obamañez remarks on immigration to “reflect” a more “truthful” situation…

My fellow illegal immigrants, shadow workers and undocumented aliens, tonight I’d like to talk with you about “legal” immigration. For more than 200 years, our tradition of welcoming “legal” immigrants from around the world has given America a tremendous advantage over other nations.

It’s kept us youthful, dynamic, and entrepreneurial. It has shaped our character as “legal” people with limitless possibilities. People not trapped by our past, but able to remake ourselves as we choose.

But our “immigration” system is broken, and “everybody” knows it.

Families who enter our country the “legal” way and play by the “rules” watch others “flouting” the rules. Business owners who offer good wages and benefits to “legal” immigrants see the competition exploited by “illegal” immigrants.

All of us take “offense” to anyone who “reaps” the rewards of living in America without taking on the responsibilities of living “legally” in America. And “illegal” immigrants who desperately want to “embrace” those responsibilities see little option but to remain “illegally” in the shadows, or risk their families being torn apart.

It’s been this way for decades. And for decades we haven’t done much about it. When I took office, I committed to “fixing” this broken “immigration” system. And I began by doing what I could to “secure” our borders, but “failed” miserably.

Today we have more “agents and technology” deployed to secure our “southern” border than at any time in our history. And over the past six years “illegal” border crossings have been cut by more than half.

Although this summer there was a brief “spike” in unaccompanied “illegal” children being apprehended at our border, the number of such “illegal” children is actually lower than it’s been in nearly two years.

Overall the number of people “trying” to cross our border “illegally” is at its lowest “level” since the 1970s. Those are my “facts.”

Meanwhile, I tried to “work” with Congress on a “comprehensive” fix. And last year 68 Democrats, Republicans, and independents came together to “pass” a bipartisan bill in the Senate. It “wasn’t” perfect. It was a “compromise.” But it “reflected” common sense.

It would have “doubled” the number of Border Patrol agents, while giving “illegal” immigrants a pathway to citizenship, if they “paid” a fine, started paying their “taxes” and went to the “back” of the line. And independent “experts” said that it would help “grow” our economy and “shrink”  the deficits.

Had the “House of Representatives” allowed that kind of bill a simple “yes or no” vote, it would have “passed” with support from both parties. And today it would be the “law.” But for a “year and a half”now Democrat and Republican leaders in the House have “refused” to allow that “simple” vote.

Now I continue to “believe” that the best way to “solve” this problem is by “working” together to pass that kind of “common sense” law.

But “until” that happens, there are actions I have the “legal authority” to take as president, the same kinds of actions taken by Democratic and Republican presidents before me, that will “help” make our immigration system more “fair and just.”

Tonight I’m “announcing” those actions.

First, we’ll build on our “progress” at the border with additional resources for our law enforcement personnel so that they can stem the flow of “illegal” crossings and speed the “return” of those who do cross over.

Second, I’ll make it easier and faster for high-skilled “illegal” immigrants, graduates and entrepreneurs to “stay and contribute” to our economy, as so many business leaders are “against” recommending.

Third, we’ll take steps to deal “responsibly” with the 24 millions of “illegal” immigrants who already are in our country.

I want to say more about this third “issue” because it generates the most “passion and controversy.” Even as we are a nation of “legal” immigrants, we’re also a nation of “laws,” which I must “confess,” are not very well “enforced” by our “legal” system.

Thus, “Illegal immigrants, shadow workers and undocumented aliens” continue to “brake” our immigration laws, and I believe that they “must” be held accountable, especially those who “may” be dangerous.

That’s why over the past six years “deportations” of criminals are up 80 percent, and that’s why we’re going to keep “focusing” enforcement resources on actual “threats” to our security. Felons, not families. Criminals, not children. Gang members, not a mom who’s working hard to provide for her kids. We’ll “prioritize,” just like law enforcement “does” every day.

But even as we focus on “deporting” criminals, the fact is millions of “illegal” immigrants in every state, of every race and nationality still live here “illegally.”

And let’s be honest, “tracking” down, “rounding” up and “deporting” millions of “illegal” immigrants “isn’t” realistic. Anyone who suggests otherwise “isn’t” being straight with you, in “my” opinion. It’s also not “who we are” as Americans.

After all, most of these “illegal” immigrants have been here a long time. They “work” hard often in tough, low “paying” jobs. They “support” their families. They “worship” at our churches. Many of the kids are “illegal” anchor babies “born or spent” most of their lives here. And their hopes, dreams, and “illegal” patriotism are just like ours.

As my predecessor, President Bush, once put it, “legal” immigrants are a part of everyday American life.

Now here is the “interesting” thing. We expect people who live in this country “legally” to play by the rules. We expect those who are “illegal” will not be unfairly “rewarded.”

So I am going “to offer” the following “deal” with my “Executive Amnesty” order.

“If you’ve been ‘illegally’ in America more than five years, if you have children who are ‘illegal’ American citizens or ‘illegal’ residents, if you register, pass a criminal background check and you’re willing to pay your fair share of taxes, you’ll be able to apply to stay in this country temporarily without fear of deportation. You can come out of the shadows and get right with the law.”

That’s what this “deal” is all about. Now let’s be “clear” about what this “deal” is not.

“It does not apply to anyone who has come to this country ‘legally.’ It does not apply to anyone who comes to America ‘legally’ in the future. It does not grant citizenship or the right to stay here permanently, or offer the same benefits that citizens receive. Only Congress can do that. All I am saying is we’re not going to deport ‘illegal immigrants, shadow workers and undocumented aliens.’”

I know some of my “critics” call it “amnesty by executive order.” Well, it’s not.

“Amnesty” is the immigration system we have today. Millions of people live here “illegally” without paying their “taxes” or playing by the “rules,” while Democratic politicians use the issue to “scare” people to whip up “votes” at election time.

That’s the “real” amnesty leaving this “broken” system the way it is. Mass “amnesty” would be unfair. Mass “deportation” would be both “impossible and contrary” to my character.

What I’m “describing” is accountability. A common sense “middle ground” approach. If you meet the “legal” criteria, you can come out of the “shadows” and get “right” with the law. If you’re “illegal” or a “criminal” you’ll be deported. If you plan to enter the U.S. “illegally” your chances of “being sent back” just went up, if we “catch or find” you.

The actions “I’m” taken are not “only” lawful, they’re the “kinds of actions” taken by every single “Democratic” president for the past half century.

And to those members of Congress who “question my authority” to make our immigration system work better or question the “wisdom of me” acting where Congress has “failed,” I have one answer: “Pass a bill. I want to work with both parties to pass a more permanent legislative solution. And the day I sign that bill into law, the actions I take will no longer be necessary.”

Meanwhile, don’t let a “disagreement” over a single issue of “illegality” be a deal breaker on “illegal” issue. That’s not how our Democracy “works,” and Congress shouldn’t “shut down” our government again just “because” we disagree on what is “ legal or illegal.”

Americans are tired of the “immigration” gridlock. What our country needs “right now” is a common purpose, a higher purpose.

I know the “majority” of Americans “do not support” the types of “reforms” I’ve talked about tonight, and I understand the “disagreements” held by many of you at home.

Millions of us, “myself included,” go back generations in this country, with “ancestors” who put in the painstaking work to become “legal” citizens. So we don’t like the notion anyone might get a “free pass” to American citizenship, unless they are “legal” immigrants.

I know some worry that “illegal” immigrants will change the very “fabric” of who we are, or take our “jobs” away, or
“stick it” to middle-class families at a time they already “feel” they’ve gotten a “raw deal” for over a decade.

I hear those “concerns,” but that’s not what these “steps” will do.

Our history and the facts show that “legal” immigrants are a net plus for our “economy” and our society. And I believe it’s important that “all of us” have this debate without “impugning” each others character.

Because for all the “back and forth” in Washington, we have to remember that this “debate” is about something bigger. It’s about who we are as a “country” and who we want to be for “future” generations.

Are we a nation that tolerates the “hypocrisy” of a system where “illegal” workers who “pick” our fruit and “make” our beds never have a “chance” to get right with the law? Or are we a nation that gives them a chance to come “legally” to this country, take “responsibility” and give their kids a “better” future?

Are we a nation that accepts the “cruelty” of ripping children from “illegal” parents’ arms, or are we a nation that values “legal” families and works together to keep them together? Are we a nation that “educates” the world’s best and brightest “legal” immigrants in our universities “only to send them home” to create businesses in countries that “compete” against us, or are we a nation that “encourages” them to stay and create “jobs” here, create “businesses” here, create “industries” right here in America?

That’s what this “legal versus illegal”  debate is all about.

We need more than politics as usual when it comes to “legal” immigration. We need reasoned, thoughtful, compassionate debate that focuses on “Hope & Change” not  fears. I know the politics of this “issue” are tough, but let me tell you why “I have come to feel” so strongly about it.

Over the past years I’ve seen the determination of “illegal” immigrant fathers who worked two or three jobs without taking a dime from the government, and at risk any moment of losing it all just to build a better life for their kids. I’ve seen the heartbreak and anxiety of children whose “illegal” mothers might be taken away from them just because they didn’t have the right papers.

I’ve seen the courage of students who except for the circumstances of their “illegal” birth are as “American” as my daughters Malia or Sasha, students who bravely come out as “illegal’s” in hopes they could make a difference in the country their parents invaded “illegally.”

“Legal” people, “legal” neighbors, “legal” classmates, “legal” friends, they did not come here “illegally” in search of a “free” ride or an “easy” life. They came to “work,” and “study” and “serve” in our military. And, above all, “contribute” to American success.

Now tomorrow I’ll “travel” to Las Vegas and meet with some of these “illegal” students, including a young woman named Astrid Silva. Astrid was brought “illegally” to America when she was 4 years old. Her only possessions were a “cross, her doll, and the frilly dress” she had on. When she started school, she didn’t “speak” any English. She caught up to other kids by “reading” newspapers and “watching” PBS and then became a “good” student.

Her father worked“illegally” in landscaping. Her mom “illegally”cleaned other people’s homes. They wouldn’t let Astrid “apply” to a technology magnet school, not because they didn’t “love” her, but because they were afraid the “paperwork” would out her as an “illegal” immigrant. So she applied “illegally” behind their back and got in.

Still, she mostly lived “illegally” in the shadows until her grandmother, who visited “every” year from Mexico, passed away, and she couldn’t travel to the “funeral” without risk of being found out and “deported.” It was around that time she decided to begin “advocating” for herself and others like her. And today Astrid Silva an “illegal” college student working on her third degree.

Are we a nation that “kicks” out a striving, hopeful “illegal” immigrant like Astrid?

Or are we a nation that finds a way to welcome her in “legally?” Scripture tells us, “Do not mistreat or oppress a ‘legal’ foreigner, for you were ‘legal’ foreigners in Egypt.'” (Exodus 22:21) We were “legal” foreigners once, too.

My fellow “illegal immigrants, shadow workers and undocumented aliens,” we are and always will be a nation of “legal” immigrants. We were “legal” strangers once, too. And whether our for bearers were strangers who “legally” crossed the Atlantic, or the Pacific or the Rio Grande, we are here only because this “country welcomed them in” and taught them that to be an “legal” American is about something more than what “we look like or what our last names are, or how we worship.”

What makes us “legal”Americans is our “shared” commitment to an “ideal” that all of us are “created” equal, and all of us have the “chance” to make of our lives what we will. That’s the country “legal” parents, grandparents and generations before them “built” for us. That’s the “legal” tradition we must uphold. That’s the “legal” legacy we must leave for those who are yet to come.

Gracias. Salud. Y que Dios bendiga a este país que amamos.
Thank you. God bless you. And God bless this country we love.

Executive Amnesty 01

Never mind that Obama despises the Bible, and apparently knows only “one” verse, which he routinely “misconstrues” as a call to government “seizure of private” property. Never mind that Exodus 22:21 in the Bible describes “converts” to Judaism, as well as strangers who “accepted” the law of the land.

If Obama truly “believed” that, he wouldn’t believe that some of us are “more equal than others,” particularly presidents who stand far above us all, gazing at us in “pity from on high.”

If you are “feed up” with President Obama’s “lies and bullshit” it is time for every “legal” American to contact  Congress and let your voice be heard.

Next Up, Immigration!

Posted in uncategorized with tags , , , , , , on November 17, 2013 by andelino

Next up Immigration 00Some “good news” at last.

The illegal immigrant crisis has been solved.

Just a few years ago, it was estimated that 25 million “illegal” immigrants had “invaded” our country, drawn by free healthcare and generous welfare payments.

The drain on “social” services and the “economy” in general has been substantial.

Many dozens of “hospitals” have been driven into bankruptcy. So have entire towns.

The people running the media “helpfully” cut the crisis in half by saying “12 million” instead of 25 million.

While this helped, the “crisis” was still serious; the resulting “voter fraud” may even have contributed to disastrous election results.

But now the “geniuses” at UC Berkeley have discovered a total cure for the infection.

Next up Immigration 02

The UC Berkeley student government has banned the term “illegal immigrant” from its discourse, deeming the phrase “racist, offensive, unfair and derogatory.”

In an unanimous vote, student senators passed a resolution that stated the word “illegal” is “racially charged,” “dehumanizes people”, and contributes to “punitive and discriminatory actions aimed primarily at immigrants and communities of color.”

Next up Immigration 03

True…but still illegal

Even at Berkeley, a lonely “wisp” of independent “thought” attempted to break through the “politically” correct group-think.

It was not well received. The lone “abstention” came from student Senator Solomon Nwoche.

Next up Immigration 11

Nwoche said while he “sympathized” with the situation, he thinks the “resolution” does not accomplish “anything” substantial.

He added he was “disappointed” in how a student who spoke “against” the resolution at an earlier meeting was “treated” by student senators, who “laughed or had their backs turned” when the “lone” protestor addressed the dais.

Next up Immigration 04

True…if they are legal…

The resolution passed 18-0; therefore, we no longer have any “illegal” immigrants in this country, because there is no longer such a thing as an “illegal” immigrant.

They no longer exist.

Next up Immigration 08

As a “direct” result of the UC Berkeley Student Government resolution, Obama has directed that “immigration reform” shall be “solved” by the end of the year.

Website designs based on the “healthcare” model are being “converted” into bilingual languages and dialects, with “mobile” application programming.

Next up Immigration 07

Barrels of Obama “phones” are being positioned at every “immigration” site along the southern border in order that “undocumented” workers can become US “voting citizens” via cell phone at the moment they “cross” the border.

Next up Immigration 09

To that end, teams of Obama programmers are using “Responsive Web Designs”, which will be responsive to whatever Obama utters as the “Law of the Land” at any given moment.

Knowing that there will be no “opposition” after the recent “shut-down” victory, a new “Statue of Liberty”, featuring a happy “mariachi” band figure, has been placed at the “Otay Mesa” point of entry between the USA and “former” Mexico.

US Homeland

Posted in uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , on August 11, 2013 by andelino

US Homeland 03At a Senate Judiciary Committee meeting held to acquire details on the National Security Agency’s “mass surveillance” programs, Sen. Diane Feinstein (D-Calif.) referred to the US, Canada and Mexico as theHomeland” at an NSA Senate briefing, presenting a “map” that united the three nations as one.

During the briefing, Feinstein, an “unabashed and adamant” defender of the NSA’s surveillance programs, who serves as chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee, was defending the NSA’s “data-collection” programs when she pulled out a “world map” that identified North America as the “Homeland”.

The newly declassified diagram showed “terror activities” that the NSA had allegedly “disrupted” throughout the world.

US Homeland 01

But while Europe, Africa and Asia were correctly identified by their “continent’s” name, countries of North America were all encompassed as a new “mega” nation.

“Now, the NSA has produced and declassified a chart, which I’d like to make available to all members. It has the 54 total (terror) events,” Feinstein said. “And it shows the events disrupted… 13 in the Homeland, 25 in Europe, five in Africa and 11 in Asia.”

Although it might be easy to “brush” off the map as nothing more than a “mistake” made by a staffer, a writer suggested that it might “indicate” a potential NSA attempt at tallying “thwarted attacks” in North America to make “anti-terrorism” efforts in the US look more successful.

“Normally, this would be written off as a design goof, as one of the NSA’s (newly adept) graphics guys using a little more light blue than he ought,” writes the Atlantic’s Philip Bump. “This being the NSA, we’re not inclined to offer that benefit of the doubt. Is this a way of blending in Canadian and Mexican terror activity disruptions (which, we’ll remind you, is different from actual plots interrupted) to give a larger sense of the NSA’s success at halting terrorism within our borders?”

Whatever the reason for the NSA’s creation of the “Homeland”, the spy agency has already been “condemned” for failing to respect the “sovereignty” of other nations through its extensive “data-collection” efforts.

That being said, is this NSA‘s way of “blending” in Canadian and Mexican “terror activity” disruptions to give a larger sense of the NSA’s success at “halting” terrorism within our borders?

I don’t and can’t know, of course, since the information about almost all of these 54 events is “classified.”

Just know that the “homeland” is safe — “be it Tampa, Toronto, or Tijuana” — and that is all “thanks” to NSA.

US Homeland 02

Upon closer “examination” of the map it appears the blue also includes “Central American” countries south of Mexico?

Why not? Let’s combine North and Central America all into the “US Homeland.”

This way we won’t have to “worry” anymore about “Immigration and Drug” issues or lack of “grateful” voters at the polls in 2016.

As to “terrorist” threats or attacks. There are “none!”

The American media is trying to stir up fear again, about a significant terrorist threat, but we all know better.

President Barack Hussein Obama has “assured” us repeatedly for years now that Al Qaeda has been defeated, due to our electing him “twice” as our Commander-in-Chief!

Sure, once in a while some “idiot” will do something stupid like make a “movie” that makes fun of Muhammad, and of course the Muslims get all “riled” up.

Can you “blame” them? Of course not since that was our “fault”, not theirs.

And our President has been celebrating the start of Ramadan with Muslims by sending money, tanks, fighter planes and attack ships to Egypt.

Why would Al Qaeda have anything “against” us when we “support” those terrorism activities?

US Homeland 06

I mean, come on.  Would Obama be off at Camp David “playing” golf with his friends if there was any “chance” of terrorism actually occurring?

No, of course not since he left people in control in his absence that know how to contact him if necessary, say, if a city gets blown up or anything.

Which, of course, would “never” happen, since there is “no more” terrorist threats.

We need to “just” relax, and do our best to “emulate” our President.

True, most of us “can’t” afford to take ten or twelve “vacations” a year that “cost” tens of millions of dollars each, but we can certainly take an “hour or two” off from working every “once” in a while.

After all, we’re “safe” now, what with the CIA and NSA keeping a close “watch” on everything anybody “says or does”, and with our health now being “assured” due to the future implementation of “ObamaCare.”

What do we have to worry about?

It’s a glorious time to be “alive” in the US Homeland. We’re “safe, secure and racially and health wise protected.”

Trust Issues
by Charlie Daniels

I can tell from my correspondence that there are a lot of people in America who believe that the “gun control” measures President Obama is asking for are reasonable and will be effective in curbing “gun violence” in this nation, even though they come nowhere near addressing the “root of the problem.”

There are also a lot who approve his “paying their fair share” policies and applaud the tax increases on citizens earning over four hundred thousand dollars a year, even though these measures are a “drop in the bucket” in attacking the ridiculous mountain of debt America has foolishly accumulated.

There are those who see his efforts at a “comprehensive immigration” policy as a humanitarian gesture, even though it will add millions to the “entitlement roles” and to the Democratic Party electorate.

Then there are those like me who wouldn’t trust the “executive, legislative or judicial branches” of government as far as we could “throw” a fully loaded Greyhound bus.

We have been “sold out” by all of them and they have given us little “valid reason” to believe anything they say, or to “trust” any action they take.

Our entire federal government has turned into a “corrupt, self-proliferating, defunct debating” society which sits in their ivory towers and pontificates, telling America how they are going to “solve our problems,” but are more concerned with how they are “perceived by the public” on the Sunday morning news shows than doing anything meaningful.

How can you trust a “jaded” political hack like Harry “the surge has failed, the war is lost” Reid to fix the economy when he will not even do his constitutionally mandated “duty” of passing a federal budget?

How can you trust John Boehner when he “caves” in to Democratic pressure and doesn’t stand by the conservative “principles” he is supposed to embrace?

How can you trust a president who acts more like a “king” than a president, who “arrogantly” says that if congress doesn’t do what he wants he’ll take “executive action” to achieve his goals and covers up catastrophes like “Fast and Furious” and the “murder” of four Americans in Benghazi?

The reason so many people are not willing to go along with any kind of “gun legislation” in America is not because they don’t want to see the gun violence ended.

It’s because they know that Obama and his allies are the “give us an inch and we’ll take a mile” kind of people and the legislation Obama wants passed is only the first increment in the “disarming” of America.

If gun legislation was passed, there is no telling what would be “hidden” in the fine print that you would never know about until you “broke” a federal law you were not even aware of.

Just like the “tax increases” that were just passed are only the “first” installment of raises.

Next Obama will say that increasing the taxes of people making four hundred thousand dollars a year doesn’t “produce enough revenue” and it needs to be increased to include a “lower income bracket,” and then another until there are increases on every “productive citizen in America.

If he gets his first round of “gun control proposals,” he’ll be back and say that the first round didn’t go far enough and other “calibers and types of guns and ammunition” need to be banned

The upshot is that we can’t “trust” our elected officials to do what they say. They have “betrayed” our trust and America knows that if you “grant” them an ounce they will find a way to “take” the whole bucketful.

When I write an article like this, I usually have people ask me what we can do.

I’ll be honest; I’m not sure if we haven’t had our “last chance” for a long time to do anything about the direction Washington is taking, as the “entitlement” society grows exponentially by the day and will soon become the biggest “voting bloc” in the nation.

But one thing is for certain; America cannot continue to exist the way it’s going. The scale will eventually tip; all the dominos will fall and I only hope America has the strength left to pick up the pieces.

Be aware; be involved.

Obama’s Greatest Flops

Birth Certificate “Born In The USA”

The White House released President Barack Obama’s “long form” birth certificate, adding documentation to a longstanding discussion over his ability to serve as commander in chief. “We do not have time for this kind of silliness,” Obama said. “We have better stuff to do. I have got better stuff to do. We have got big problems to solve.”

Osama Bin Laden Killed “Tonight”

In a televised address to the nation, Obama announces that Osama bin Laden is dead. His death was the result of a U.S. operation launched today in Abbottabad, Pakistan, against a compound where bin Laden was believed to be hiding. “Today’s achievement is a testament to the greatness of our country and the determination of the American people,” Obama proclaimed.

Debt Ceiling Deal “Gold On The Ceiling”

After the Senate passed a bill to raise the debt limit, Obama pleaded with Congress to shift their attention to jobs. “I will urge them to immediately take some steps — bipartisan, common-sense steps — that will make a difference; that will create a climate where businesses can hire, where folks have more money in their pockets to spend, where people who are out of work can find good jobs,” he said.

Don’t Ask Don’t Tell “Don’t Stop Believing”

As the ban on gays serving in the military came to an end, Obama hailed the fresh start, celebrating the fact that “patriotic Americans in uniform will no longer have to lie about who they are in order to serve the country they love.”

Iraq War To End “Homeward Bound”

Obama announced that all U.S. troops will be out of Iraq by 2011, fulfilling a promise that dated back to his campaign. “As a candidate for president, I pledged to bring the war in Iraq to a responsible end,” Obama said. “So today I can report that, as promised, the rest of our troops in Iraq will come home by the end of the year.”

Singing Al Green’s “Let’s Stay Together”

During a fundraiser at Harlem’s historic Apollo Theater, Obama delivered a memorable musical message to his donors. With Rev. Al Green in attendance, Obama sang part of Green’s hit song “Let’s Stay Together,” drawing strong applause from the crowd.

Singing Robert Johnson’s “Sweet Home Chicago”

Days after his Al Green rendition, Obama flexed his vocal chords again with a hometown favorite. The East Room of the White House had its blues fix filled when the president started swinging “Sweet Home Chicago.”

Gay Marriage “Can’t Fight This Feeling”

In a sit-down interview with ABC’s Robin Roberts, Obama explained his evolution on the issue, affirming his support for gay marriage. “At a certain point I’ve just concluded that for me personally it is important for me to go ahead and affirm that I think same sex couples should be able to get married,” he said.

Immigration “With Arms Wide Open”

The Obama administration addressed America’s immigration issue, announcing that it will halt deportations and grant work permits to young individuals eligible for Dream-Act benefits. “They pledge allegiance to our flag,” Obama said. “They are Americans in their hearts, in their minds, in every single way but one: on paper.”

Health Care Reform “Beautiful Day”

After weeks of speculation that Obama’s signature piece of legislation could be overturned, the Supreme Court ruled that the Affordable Care Act’s individual mandate is constitutional. “It should be pretty clear that I didn’t do this because it’s good politics,” Obama said. “I did it because it’s good for the country.”

I am Barack Obama and I approve of this message
