Time to Stop FaceBook

Posted in uncategorized with tags , , on October 31, 2021 by andelino

Facebook and Google would be nothing like the behemoths they have become today if competition regulators had been tougher.

Few of us who have survived the last year aren’t grateful for technology. Zoom, email, connected workplaces and solid internet connections at home have made it possible to work, shop, study and carry on our lives in a way that wouldn’t have been possible had the pandemic hit, say, 20 years earlier.

But parts of Big Tech — the parts that track us and drive us to think dangerous and antisocial things just so we keep clicking — are doing us enormous damage.

Vitamin D

Posted in uncategorized with tags , , on October 4, 2021 by andelino

If you had to name one of the greatest natural medicines known to mankind, what would it be? Here’s a hint: It’s not a vaccine. But it’s free, readily available and possibly as beneficial to your health as food and exercise.

Vitamin D is produced when sunlight reaches your skin. It inhibits an astounding number of diseases, including Covid-19. Yet many leading experts downplay its preventative abilities.

Perhaps no other supplement affects human health as much as vitamin D. Your body converts it into a hormone (calcitriol) that can affect more than 1,200 genes in your body, according to the National Institute of Health.

You produce vitamin D by gaining a proper amount of sun exposure. This natural “wonder drug” helps dramatically reduce cancer deaths and 90 other serious health problems.

But many people are deficient in vitamin D. Paranoid dermatologists have spread a phobia of sun exposure. Because of this, and because of our generally sedentary lifestyle, many people spend too much time indoors. More than 3 in 4 people have deficient vitamin D blood levels of 20 nanograms per milliliter or less.

Imagine running your car and never bringing it in for scheduled maintenance like oil changes. That’s the equivalent of neglecting vitamin D. You will run fine for a while, but then significant problems will develop as you lose the protection it provides.

You can inject vitamin D through fatty fish, egg yolk, cheese, cod liver oil and beef liver. However, dietary levels are insufficient to meet your needs. The most natural way to receive enough vitamin D is sun exposure. During the winter months, when sun exposure is minimal, another option is to take 4,000 to 5,000 IU per day of a quality vitamin D supplement.

Perhaps the most pervasive vitamin D myth is that it can be toxic, despite the evidence that such toxicity is an exceedingly rare medical condition. Studies show that only those taking upwards of 50,000 or even 1 million units per day for an extended period even approach the danger zone. When you are out in the sun, your body makes at least 10,000 units of vitamin D within 30 minutes. This is called a minimal erythemal dose.

Many experts say that levels of vitamin D in your blood don’t even measurably rise until you consume 4,000 IU of supplements, an amount that is certainly within reason. This amount of vitamin D helps you reach 40 to 80 nanograms per milliliter. At that level, your body selectively kills infectious agents and prevents many diseases. Almost 90 percent of American adults have vitamin D levels below that range.

So where does all the talk of toxicity spring from? Perhaps the answer lies in the fact that vitamin D may indeed be a covid killer. Scientists have found that vitamin D actually triggers your immune system’s killer T-cells. Lack of vitamin D leaves T-cells dormant, increasing your risk of sickness, including the risk of covid-19 severity and mortality, reported Science Daily.

Researchers at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation Trust and the University of East Anglia in England compared average vitamin D levels of 20 European countries against Covid-19 mortality rates and found “significant relationships” between low levels of the vitamin and Covid-19 deaths. Indonesian researchers noted that of those who tested positive for sars-CoV-2 and died, about 98.9 percent were vitamin D deficient (below 20 nanograms per milliliter).

Pooled data shows abundant evidence proving this association, especially with elderly people, where vitamin D deficiency is endemic. The sensible conclusion is that sufficient blood levels of vitamin D (above 40 nanograms per milliliter) reduces your risk of contracting Covid-19, reduces the likelihood that it will be a severe case, and reduces your risk of dying from it—especially from the virus’s killing mechanism, according to Northwestern University.

Google suppresses many studies pointing to the effectiveness of vitamin D against the coronavirus. This physically harms people by increasing hospitalizations and mortality rates.

Why suppress such information? It’s no secret that Google’s parent company, Alphabet, has been on an aggressive hunt for health data, creating patient profiles against which they can advertise healthcare products. Meanwhile, Google’s investment arm is also directly invested in the AstraZeneca/Oxford covid vaccine. When these executives censor information about the benefit of vitamin D and other natural measures against Covid-19, they are censoring information that threatens their profits.

We are seeing a virus information monopoly, a massive misinformation campaign about vitamin D toxicity, a dragnet to catch your health data, promotion of vaccines that have reportedly caused more than 12,000 deaths in the United States alone, and an overall trend toward public health totalitarianism.

The past year of lockdowns have done tremendous damage to our national health. Enacted to supposedly protect our immune system from the covid virus, the move was instead devastatingly unhealthy as the public failed to get sufficient sunshine and vitamin D.

While billions of people willingly offer up their health in return for a vaccine that may actually make the cure worse than the disease, you can soak up proper amounts of vitamin D instead as a powerful Covid-19 deterrent, just as your Creator designed you to.

It’s simple, free and amazingly effective, with no fine print or adverse effects.

Amazon Web Services

Posted in uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on September 6, 2021 by andelino

We are all used to Amazon delivering packages to our doors and mailboxes. But did you know that Amazon also delivers virtually every filmed video in the United States to your screen?

According to an article at the American Prospect, Amazon Web Services (AWS) provides service to 32 percent of the Internet. However, the dominance of AWS expands further when examining digital video delivery in the United States.

“AWS is the back-end provider for Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, Paramount+, Peacock, HBO Max, Discovery+, and of course, Amazon Prime. As of February of this year, that list includes the top six streaming services in the U.S. by subscribers; Discovery+, which is not on that list, is merging with HBO Max, and Paramount+ didn’t launch until March. Just from those top six, 558.8 million U.S. subscribers rely on AWS to get their streaming video. Yes, this is more people than live in the United States; that’s because, as you doubtless know, many people subscribe to more than one streaming service.”

Over 550 million streaming accounts in the U.S. are run by AWS. In addition, every major movie studio (Disney, Universal, Warner Bros., and Paramount) stream their new releases on services run by AWS. Even movie theaters receive their new releases via a cloud, which is run by, you guessed it, AWS.

Not only is movie distribution relying on Amazon Web Services for distribution and digital infrastructure, but over 1,600 television channels utilize AWS. That includes Fox, Viacom, CBS and the Discovery families of networks.

“If you are watching a filmed piece of entertainment on any screen at a theater, at home or on your phone through a digital direct-to-customer stream, on a television network, or on a streaming service, the odds are extremely likely that you’re making use of AWS.”

No matter which service you choose to use, Amazon has some amount of control in having it delivered to your screen: They have a phantom monopoly on the filmed media industry in the United States. This phantom monopoly should concern us all because Amazon has a track record of censoring content that does not align with its political agenda. Amazon has barely flexed its censorship muscles but has already shown what power it holds.

The most significant censorship by Amazon was the removal of Parler from its servers, giving the social media company only 24 hours’ notice on January 10. This was in conjunction with Apple and Google banning Parler from their app stores. Amazon claims Parler violated the service agreement by allowing violent content to be shared on its platform. The Amazon e-mail stated that it “cannot provide services to a customer that is unable to effectively identify and remove content that encourages or incites violence against others.”

After the January 6 protests, Parler did not ban content about election fraud, President Donald Trump or any other opinion. Other Big Tech companies banned President Trump and have since censored any content about election fraud, Covid-19 vaccine effectiveness, and the integrity of the 2020 presidential election. These opinions do not align with those of these tech giants.

While these Big Tech companies have blocked individuals or certain content, Amazon has the power to completely blot out websites at a whim. Thirty-two percent of the Internet is run on Amazon Web Services. That is a lot of power for a company that may decide your opinions “encourage or incite violence” or violate any of its vague service agreement clauses.

Another instance occurred when Amazon removed the documentary “Created Equal on Justice Clarence Thomas” from its streaming service with no warning or notice. According to the Wall Street Journal: Director Michael Pack said that Created Equal was doing well on Amazon, so it wasn’t pulled because no one wanted to see it. “For a while our film was, briefly, No. 1 in documentaries. And I think it’s still No. 25 or 30, so it’s been selling,” he said. Notably, he added, less-popular documentaries about Anita Hill and Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg continue to be available for streaming on Amazon. “So why don’t they offer Created Equal? There’s obviously customer demand.”

Amazon has not given an explanation on why it suddenly decided to remove a documentary on a conservative minded Supreme Court justice (contractually it is not required to provide an explanation). But this is not the first time Amazon has removed content, as WSJ explained:

“If this episode sounds familiar, it’s because Amazon pulled a similar stunt last fall. Eli Steele’s What Killed Michael Brown?—a critique of liberal social policies that was written and narrated by his father, the race scholar Shelby Steele—was slated to stream on Amazon in October, then held up for reasons the company never fully explained.”

Amazon eventually relented and made the film available, but only after these pages weighed in and made a fuss. The documentary was picked up by the Daily Wire and is available to view on its website. This is an example of Amazon censoring content it directly controls. But as seen through the Parler example, it can remove the support servers for any of the businesses that use AWS.

While most of these streaming corporations lean left and allow unspeakably immoral content on their platform for millions of Americans to consume, it is doubtful any would allow their company to be destroyed for the sake of free speech. Amazon has enough leverage over the industry to cause universal censorship. This behavior has been manifest in another Amazon business line.

In addition to its dominance in the film industry, Amazon also controls 83 % of the book market. So what happens if the book you are selling does not align with Amazon’s opinions?

In early 2021, Amazon banned the book When Harry Became Sally, by conservative Ryan T. Anderson, which provides a different view on the transgender movement. The book was first released in 2018 and was one of the bestsellers on Amazon. The official Amazon policy states:

“We don’t sell certain content including content that we determine is hate speech, promotes the abuse or sexual exploitation of children, contains pornography, glorifies rape or pedophilia, advocates terrorism, or other material we deem inappropriate or offensive.”

Amazon sold the book in 2018, 2019 and 2020, but decided in 2021 that it is in violation of these guidelines. Three Republican senators wrote to Amazon asking for an explanation on the decision. Amazon responded by saying it has “chosen not to sell books that frame lgbtq+ identity as a mental illness.”

To add to the confusion, in May 2021 Amazon decided to keep selling Abigail Shrier’s book “Irreversible Damage: The Transgender Craze Seducing Our Daughters.” Nearly 500 Amazon employees have signed a petition to have the book removed. At least two Amazon employees have resigned in protest. In 2020, Amazon refused to allow paid promotions of Ms. Shrier’s book.

In addition to the books that challenge the radical-leftist view of transgenderism, Amazon also temporarily banned criticism of the reaction to Covid-19, as NBC News writes:

Last year, Amazon blocked the selling of a self-published e-book that claimed the harms of the coronavirus were overstated, but reversed its decision after Elon Musk tweeted that the company’s decision was “insane.”

Amazon has been so inconsistent and vague that its unpredictability only allows censorship to be easier in the future. Would Amazon ever leverage its dominance in the film and book industry to censor opposing opinions?

Amazon’s new CEO is left-leaning Andy Jassy, who was leading Amazon Web Services when it de-platformed Parler, he’s now over the entire company. Amazon has censored before, and it likely will again. The war over censorship is moving toward a climactic battle.

After the January 6 protests, Big Tech acted in a concerted manner to censor any news or opinions that claimed the riot was not a terrorist attack or insurrection. Michelle Obama wrote a letter to Big Tech CEO’s to censor Donald Trump and conservatives and they did her bidding. However, since the Biden administration has taken power, it has escalated to state-sponsored censorship.

The Wall Street Journal ran an article that quotes a letter from two Democrat representatives addressed to Amazon, Apple, Google and cable companies. It reported:

“The letter is a demand for more ideological censorship. Our country’s public discourse is plagued by misinformation, disinformation, conspiracy theories and lies,” write Reps. Anna Eshoo and Jerry McNerney. They quote a claim that right-wing media is “much more susceptible,” and demand to know why Amazon’s Fire TV carries certain conservative programs.

Since when have lawmakers asked private companies to censor their political opponents? On July 15, the New York Post reported that the Biden administration is compiling a list of posts for Facebook to censor: “White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said the Biden administration is identifying ‘problematic’ posts for Facebook to censor because they contain ‘misinformation’ about Covid-19.”

Is Big Tech virtually another branch of the U.S. government? President Donald Trump is suing Facebook, Twitter and Google for censorship, claiming that the companies are acting as government agents, working hand-in-glove with the radical left. The battle over Big Tech censorship and free speech is ramping up.

Where is all of this leading? There will come a time in the future when free speech will be unavailable. The message coming from God’s work will disappear, like food disappearing in a famine. Amos also says that the “land is not able to bear all his words” (Amos 7:10). People in America will not be able to bear the message of warning and will seek to censor that message.

Besides the other tech giants, it is not hard to imagine how a company like Amazon, which has such a dominant influence on the Internet, film industry and online bookselling, could cause a famine of God’s Word.

That time is not here yet. God does deliver America from bitter affliction for a short period of time (2 Kings 14:26-27). What does this mean for you?

Watch and observe where Big Tech censorship is leading.

EcoHealth Alliance

Posted in uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , on July 14, 2021 by andelino

For months, Big Tech companies did all they could to prevent information about the true origins of Covid 19 from reaching the public. Both Facebook and YouTube banned posts mentioning the lab-leak theory. At the same time, Google manipulated its search algorithms to suppress searches for “coronavirus lab leak.” When a Wall Street Journal reporter asked Google Health Vice President David Feinberg why Google was censoring searches about the lab-leak theory, Feinberg said Google did not want to “lead people down pathways that we would find to be not authoritative information.”

Yet new reports reveal there may be another reason Google did not want people researching the lab-leak theory. Google was funding “EcoHealth Alliance” President Peter Daszak’s research and did not wish to expose its role in kicking off a pandemic that caused the worst recession since World War II.

Investigative reporter Natalie Winters released a report on June 19 noting that Google.org has been funding “EcoHealth Alliance” research for over a decade. Among the studies Google.org funded was a 2010 study on bat flaviviruses, a 2014 study on henipavirus spillover from fruit bats to human populations in Africa, a 2015 study on Macacine Herpesvirus-1 in long-tailed macaques, and a 2018 study on the chances of an animal virus crossing over into the human population of China.

Why was the charity arm of Google so interested in funding Dr. Peter Daszak’s research?

“EcoHealth Alliance” is a United States-based nongovernmental organization that aims to protect people and animals from infectious diseases. Yet under Dr. Daszak’s leadership, this organization has funneled nearly $600,000 to the “Wuhan Institute of Virology” for research on bat coronavirus. EcoHealth Alliance took most of the money sent to Wuhan from a $3.7 million grant it received from the “National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases,” which Dr. Anthony Fauci heads. Other government donors to EcoHealth Alliance’s research fund include the Pentagon, the State Department, the National Science Foundation, the Department of Homeland Security and the Fish and Wildlife Service.

Altogether, EcoHealth Alliance has received at least $60 million from American taxpayers and an undisclosed amount from Silicon Valley tech giants like Google to research various viruses.

All this funding becomes tremendously significant if it turns out that Covid 19 leaked out of the Wuhan Institute of Virology. EcoHealth Alliance funded a 2015 study where Chinese virologist Shi Zhengli and others spliced the spike of a bat coronavirus onto a mouse-adapted SARS-CoV backbone to create a new chimeric virus. Suppose this research advertently or inadvertently created Covid 19. In that case, EcoHealth Alliance, the U.S. government and Google all have a lot to answer for.

Political commentator Steve Hilton believes Google’s ties to EcoHealth Alliance may be one of the biggest scandals of our time.

“It’s honestly one of the biggest scandals for, I don’t know, a hundred years,” Hilton said on Fox News Primetime. “I can’t think of a bigger one when you think of the consequences of this pandemic and the idea that it was created by scientists who were arrogantly operating outside the bounds of the regulations that were in place and then covering their tracks. … It’s a really shocking story, and it just adds to this increasingly big mountain of evidence that we have got a massive establishment cover-up going on because the people at the heart of this know what they did.”

Google executives knew the money they were giving Dr. Daszak was being sent to China. Still, they sent the money and tried to censor their role in this research when a coronavirus leaked out of the lab. This raises disturbing questions about what other types of morally ambiguous research Google is funding.

Calico Life Sciences llC is a subsidiary of Google’s parent company Alphabet, Inc. Its stated goal is to combat aging and associated diseases. One of its molecular biologists, Cynthia Kenyon, has engineered roundworms that live six times longer than usual. Now Calico Life Sciences is partnering with Ancestrydna (the largest-profit genealogy company) to research the genetics of human life spans. The goal is to hack the code of life and genetically engineer humans who can live beyond 120 years.

China has been trying to steal people’s DNA data for years to get the genetic information it needs to manufacture ethnically specific bioweapons. So the fact that Ancestrydna is partnering with a company just caught collaborating with the Wuhan Institute of Virology is not comforting.

Many scientists working for Google and the Chinese Communist Party are not content bio-engineering corona viruses and roundworms. Their real desire is to bio-engineer human beings. Yet as the Covid 19 pandemic proves, trying to play God and create new life forms comes with dangerous consequences.

The fact that Google and a myriad of U.S. administrative agencies were using EcoHealth Alliance to conduct gain-of-function experiments in China is proof that Silicon Valley is a node of the “deep state.”

“There is the visible United States government, situated in imposing neoclassical buildings around the Mall in Washington, D.C., and there is another, more shadowy and indefinable government that is not explained in Civics 101 or observable to tourists at the White House or the Capitol,” former congressional aide Mike Lofgren writes in his book The Deep State.

“The former is the tip of an iceberg that is theoretically controllable via elections. The subsurface part of the iceberg operates on its own compass heading regardless of who is formally in power. Washington is the most important node of the deep state, but it is not the only one. Invisible threads of money and ambition connect the town to other nodes. One is Wall Street, which supplies the cash that keeps the political machine quiescent and operating as a diversionary puppet show. This inverted relationship is also true between the visible government and Silicon Valley, defined here in its broadest sense to mean not only hardware and software companies but the telecommunications backbone that enables these devices to work.”

Lofgren explains how the different nodes of the deep state operate to subvert America’s constitutional form of government. Still, he does not explain the root cause behind why the deep state exists. Barack Obama “filled America’s law enforcement agencies with treasonous agents” and “led what is known as the ‘deep state.’” Then, after explaining that Obama is the real head of the deep state, he explained why the deep state exists:

“God has blessed America like no other nation. And the devil wants to destroy America like no other nation! Satan is marshaling every tool and weapon he can to wreck this nation, and he is having alarming success! This evil spiritual power is influencing the radical left! Most Republicans don’t realize what they are dealing with: people who are absolutely committed to destroying the government of this land!”

The networks pushing to finance dangerous genetic experiments and Internet censorship are a tool of the “deep state” to destroy America’s constitutional government.

Autofill Google Pizza

CALLER: Is this Pizza Hut?
GOOGLE: No sir, it’s Google Pizza.
CALLER: I must have dialed a wrong number, sorry.
GOOGLE: No sir, Google bought Pizza Hut last month.
CALLER: OK. I would like to order a pizza.
GOOGLE: Do you want your usual, sir?
CALLER: My usual? You know me?
GOOGLE: According to our caller ID data sheet, the last 12 times you called you ordered an extra-large pizza with three cheeses, sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms and meatballs on a thick crust.
CALLER: Super! That’s what I’ll have.
GOOGLE: May I suggest that this time you order a pizza with ricotta, arugula, sun-dried tomatoes and olives on a whole wheat gluten-free thin crust?
CALLER: What? I don’t want a vegetarian pizza!
GOOGLE: Your cholesterol is not good, sir.
CALLER: How the hell do you know that?
GOOGLE: Well, we cross-referenced your home phone number with your medical records. We have the result of your blood tests for the last 7 years.
CALLER: Okay, but I do not want your rotten vegetarian pizza! I already take medication for my cholesterol.
GOOGLE: Excuse me sir, but you have not taken your medication regularly. According to our database, you purchased only a box of 30 cholesterol tablets once at Lloyd’s Pharmacy, 4 months ago.
CALLER: I bought more from another Pharmacy.
GOOGLE: That doesn’t show on your credit card statement.
CALLER: I paid in cash.
GOOGLE: But you did not withdraw enough cash according to your bank statement.
CALLER:I have other sources of cash.
GOOGLE: That doesn’t show on your latest tax returns, unless you bought them using an undeclared income source, which is against the law!
CALLER: WHAT THE HELL!
GOOGLE: I’m sorry sir, we use such information only with the sole intention of helping you.
CALLER: Enough already! I’m sick to death of Google, Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp and all the others. I’m going to an island without the internet, TV, where there is no phone service and no one to watch me or spy on me.
GOOGLE: I understand sir, but you need to renew your passport first. It expired 6 weeks ago…

Welcome to the FUTURE!

The above scenario is no fantasy. We are tracked constantly. Our exact location is known and tracked. Our phone calls are tracked. Everything we type on the internet. Our e-mails. What we buy in stores and on line. Everything. And it’s going to get worse. Much worse. Global Communism.

How To Survive Big Tech

Posted in uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , on January 13, 2021 by andelino

The largest technology companies in the United States don’t like you very much. Conservatives will have their voices silenced just like the dissenters in China.

So, what should you do to survive “The Purge”

Social Media

Start by recognizing that you can’t fix the tech platforms that are bent on eradicating your “Social Media” point-of-views. You’ll have to go elsewhere or be exiled. So consider alternative social media platforms focusing on freedom of speech like Parler, Gab, MeWee, Rumble, etc.

Search Engines

Google kicked Parler off its app store because it disagreed with posts that users published. Weak, lame, silly, petty. Yeah, but it is what it is. You can’t fix Google, so avoid it.

DuckDuckGo is a fantastic search engine, they don’t track you, don’t sell your data and do not have the algorithmic political bias that Google does. Go HERE to see how to change the search engine you use from Google to ANYTHING else.

Another great search engine is Brave, a fast, private and secure web browser for PC, Mac and mobile. Download now to enjoy a faster ad-free browsing experience that saves data and battery life by blocking tracking software.

Tech Choices

Apple and Google kicked free speech company Parler off of its app store. If you have an iPhone or a Pixel, you’re financially supporting their actions.

While Samsung still uses Google’s Android OS, picking a phone not made by Apple or Google nets the monopolistic demons much less revenue than buying their phones.

You can also “de-Google” your Android phone to completely release you from Big Tech’s grasp:

The ultimate idea is to make sure you aren’t stuck on a single platform, with a single provider, on a single device. You must decentralize your communications so that you can get the information you need.

While luxuriating in Tahiti, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey made a shameful but bold decision: He removed thousands of conservative voices from his platform, including GrrrGraphics. You can follow GrrrGraphics on Gab with same ID @GRRRGRAPHICS.

Our mass violation? We were all pro-Trump. Dorsey “lied” and said we were promoting ”violence” while he allowed “hang Pence” messages to stay.

Not to be outdone, Jeff Bezos also “cleansed” the Twitter alternative, Parler, from his company’s cloud servers. Trump supporters are now being smeared as “terrorists” by the far left mega billionaires.

Throughout 2020, Facebook was busy “censoring” conservative voices on their platform. Mark Zuckerberg is good friends with China’s President Xi.

Zuckerberg speaks Chinese. He asked Xi to name his child. Zuckerberg clearly interfered with the election by refusing to allow any comments or links to Hunter’s notorious laptop. Facebook went the Hillary route of lying and said with zero proof that it was “Russian disinformation.”

Try using Google for any searches of conservative opinions and you’ll see page after page of leftist opinions stating why conservatives are wrong. Goggle does “evil” and it’s now nothing more than a “socialist propaganda arm” and not a search engine.

Many on the left claim it’s perfectly fine for these CEOs to burn conservative opinions. After all, they are private companies and can do whatever they want. Not exactly. They are publicly-held companies. Twitter’s stock got slammed the other day and rightfully so. Let’s hope the mega billionaires are all taken down a peg or two, but more importantly, we all need to point out the hypocrisy of the left for blatantly violating our First Amendment.

The lefty mega billionaires know their plans for us are unpopular. Their ideas don’t stand up in the marketplace of ideas, so they want to limit and control that marketplace.  They know this is not aligned with our Constitution, but they don’t care. They admire the “Chicoms” system more. Hence their naked display of reckless power.

They must be awfully “afraid” if they’re resorting to “silencing” millions of Americans.

Dump Big Tech Now

Posted in uncategorized with tags , , , , , on January 10, 2021 by andelino

Dump Twitter and Big Tech for threatening our “democracy and freedom of speech.”

Twitter just de-platformed President Trump permanently! And, other conservatives, including General Flynn and Sidney Powell, were also summarily de-platformed.

Conservatives, Christians and freedom-loving Americans of all political persuasions must now take a decision to preserve their free speech and their ability to peaceably assemble by dumping Twitter and Big Tech, and by finding other good alternatives to communicate with each other and share their opinions.

Please SIGN our petition-pledge to Dump Twitter and Big Tech, and take back your freedom of speech and privacy. CLICK HERE for our “Goodbye Google” resources page to find good alternatives to Google!

When you use Twitter or Facebook to communicate, or Google to search for something online, these companies can stifle your ability to share your thoughts and opinions and manipulate your search results, threatening your privacy, your freedom of speech, and even our democracy.

Evidence suggests that Twitter and Facebook’s “community guidelines” are selectively enforced against conservatives and Christians, while Google rigs their search algorithms to direct traffic away from conservative and Christian websites, effectively choking traffic to those sites.

Simply put, Twitter, Facebook and Google, who owns YouTube, appear to be actively suppressing access to pro-freedom, pro-family and pro-life news and opinion.

Don’t contribute to this assault on democracy: “Stop using Twitter, Facebook and Google as your default social media platforms and search engine!” CLICK HERE to find a good alternative to Google.

To repeat: “a few liberal and completely unaccountable computer programmers in Silicon Valley are dictating what we do and do not see in our Twitter and Facebook feeds, and in our Google searches.”

We, here, at LifeSite, also recently had our Twitter account suspended by the company over “misgendering” a man who claims to be a woman.

LifeSite has also experienced a fall-off in Google search-related traffic since the company updated its search algorithms at the beginning of May.

And, since the November election, Twitter and Big Tech appear to have dramatically INCREASED their censorship of conservatives and Christians as the President Trump disputed the results of the election and when evidence of election fraud began to mount.

Now, it seems likely that they are trying to cut-off conservative leaders like President Trump from conservatives on the ground, and effectively exclude us from the national conversation.

But, this tactic will not work. Because Twitter, Facebook and Google are not the only game in town! There are a good number of excellent alternatives which we list in our “Goodbye Google” Resources page.

The great irony is that, while Twitter, Facebook and Google executives talk a lot about maintaining freedom of speech and diversity, in fact, these hypocrites are ATTACKING free speech point-blank!

This kind of “manipulation” poses a lethal threat to our democracy, but as we see so clearly now, Twitter and Big Tech have shown no hesitation in excluding conservatives and Christians from the public square.

So, at this point, the only way to stop Twitter, Facebook and Google is to quit “using their platform.”

Please SIGN and SHARE this petition to pledge to stop using Twitter and Big Tech. Then, please CLICK HERE to find alternative search engines and social media platforms. Thank you!

Undeniable Truths About the Left
by Dex Bahr

As my high school football coach used to say, “It is time to fight like men or hike up your skirts and say, here it is.”  Freedom-loving, patriotic Americans need to take a deep breath, calm down and accurately assess the current cultural and political situation in the country. It is time to stop reacting to what the left does and instead focus on some undeniable truths about our enemies.  Victory only comes after finding your opponents’ weaknesses and exploiting them, but such flaws cannot be found without honest and careful study.  This is how patriots fight.

First, we must begin by properly labeling the truth as it is. For example, everything that is happening now is because the left’s plans to remake the United States from a Constitutional republic into “borderless global state” were thwarted by the people electing Donald J. Trump for president.  As a result, the left not only “hates” Trump for beating their savior Hillary Clinton, it also “loathes” the citizens who voted for him.

Once you honestly grasp the level of hatred the left has for us, you begin to understand that the Wuhan virus extended lockdowns and the Black Lives Matter/Antifa led riots are for express purpose of bringing misery and terror to those who dared to vote for Donald Trump in 2016 and those who are planning to vote for him in November.

The left has turned up their intensity to eleven in their ongoing effort to isolate Trump from his base. Democrat governors and mayors are holding your Constitutional freedoms hostage and the unspoken ransom for you to make all this desolation go away is to vote Democrat. “Abandon this ogre, Trump, and things will go back to how they were before you made the mistake of voting for him.”

Let’s play along with that scenario for the moment and say you were to desert Trump and opt for your life of comfort again. Do you honestly think the Democrats will forgive and forget? Hardly! If past behavior is an indication of future behavior, then the Democrats will continue to scapegoat you for all that is wrong with the country.

This is exactly what they are doing now when they speak of white privilege and systemic racism. What makes you think the left would cease from this malice, especially if it were to win an election for them?

And that brings us to this truth: “the left hates any American who disagrees with them.” Liberty-minded Americans understand that people are going to have strong disagreements on issues, but they appreciate that this is a consequence of free speech under the First Amendment. Leftists hate free speech, especially if it criticizes their agenda.

Since they dismiss debate, they have come up with ways to control speech and thought under the rubric of social justice and multiculturalism. Authoritarianism is the source of such a mindset, not liberty. An authoritarian wants to take away your freedom, not protect it. This takes us to another truth about the left and their proxies, the Democrat Party.

Leftists love Marxism and therefore hate liberty. The Democrat Party reflects this because they have been hijacked by the Marxist left. Marxism is the theory behind socialism and communism, although they all lead to the same result of despair and slaughter. Both are the antithesis to capitalism, yet our federal government and many of our state governments continue to fornicate with socialism. “ObamaCare” anyone?

Socialism is the foot in the door under the guise of equality and communism is the thug who breaks down the door, holds you prisoner and forces you to work for his benefit. Leftist governors and mayors have gone full communist under the guise of safety in their removal of freedoms during the Chinese Wuhan virus lockdowns. Think about the three areas the left focused upon. They went after our right to peaceably assemble, our free exercise of religion, and our right to free speech.

The left went after our right to peaceably gather by limiting the number of people we could congregate with and initiating social distancing. Next, they impeded our free exercise of religion by deeming churches as non-essential and forbidding us from gathering for church services; even if they were drive-thru services. Finally, free speech was attacked when leftist social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter censored any posts or tweets that went against the COVID-19 media narrative.

Google even controls what information you have access to with a search and now is even “manipulating” stories regarding the uptick on positive cases of COVID-19. Think I am kidding? Just enter any random number and “new COVID cases” and you will get a series of stories with the numbers you entered. I tested this myself. I first entered “300 new COVID cases” and I got this.  I then entered “400 new COVID cases” and got these results.

Just for “absurdity” sake I then decided to enter the random numbers 293 and 671 and surprisingly I got hits featuring those figures. Coincidence? Remember there is no such thing as coincidence on the left. Manipulation is more like it, which takes us to another truth about the left.

Feel drained and frustrated? Thinking that this is the end of the American experiment? That is because the left has been manipulating your emotions; case in point, polling data. All we have been hearing lately is Trump is toast. Biden has a double-digit lead. That’s it, turn out the lights. This is all to dispirit you. Since March, there has been a non-stop pile-on of your emotions. This, in an all-out, no holds barred effort to convince you to give up all hope and reject President Trump.

We are in the midst of a cultural revolution brought to you courtesy of the left. They want you to believe that “rioting and looting” has been a genuinely organic occurrence. However, when you look at the timing and precision of recent events it has become more obvious that this battle plan had been in the works for some time and just needed the right fuse to set off a powder keg. And this leads us to another sobering truth about the left.

The left is willing to destroy “race relations, shred the Constitution, call for the defunding of police, and validate lawlessness,” all for the express purpose of achieving an election victory in November. All this violence and fear has been unleashed in the hopes of sweeping the Democrats, led by a cognitively challenged presidential nominee, into power. Let that sink in.

When you have no positive agenda to offer and nothing inspirational to run on then I guess encouraging “anarchy” is next logical step? Since they cannot run a campaign on “building anything”, why not campaign on “tearing down” the works and achievements of others?

They claim to offer new enlightenment on the “sins” of our forefathers, but all they can offer is “condemnation” as if they are “judge, jury and god.” This is not hyperbole but a fact. In the absence of worshiping a Creator, the left blasphemes by making themselves little gods where everything they demand should be a dictate for all and nothing they say is worthy of criticism.

Arrogance and hubris are two other truths about the left that we need to understand. And right now the Democrats are smug and they are thumping their chests in victory. They believe they have come up with the winning strategy to defeat Trump and to radically change the culture. They are convinced of the validity of their polls and are gleefully savoring the fear of average Americans. I am convinced this will be their undoing.

More and more people are becoming wise to all that is going on and that includes the average Democrat voter. They see what their party is doing to this country and they are taking note. These average working-class Democrats are just like the average working-class conservatives who only want to have a good job, savings, good schools for their kids, a nice house, and to live in a safe community.

They see their party becoming dangerously “radicalized” and I do not doubt that they are just as troubled about the direction of the country as we conservatives are. These men and women may not voice their disgust , but do not be surprised to read a post mortem to the election that will show many Democrats casting a “vote” for Trump. And I believe that will also be true of the Black community.

You may not see them interviewed, but a great many blacks “appreciate” that President Trump has done more for them than all the presidents of the past 30 years. This is a powerful truth that black and Hispanic “unemployment” have been at all-time lows under the Trump Administration.

Democrats know this and it scares them. Prior to the Wuhan virus pandemic, at least of 20 percent of blacks indicated they would be voting to re-elect President Trump. If that holds true, that would be a death knell to the Democrat Party. This is a huge reason for the left fanning the flames of “racial unrest under the lie of systemic racism and white privilege.”

A final truth is that the left is aided by “sycophantic media.” The left seems powerful only because the media portrays them that way. The media never challenges Democrats and rarely publish any negative stories about them unless there is some sort of political calculation in doing so. This is a double-edged sword. Such reporting is inherently dishonest at its core and spares the left from hearing honest and UN-filtered truths about the failures of their policies and actions.

The truth is sometimes uncomfortable to face, but it is liberating. In the days that follow this Independence Day weekend, make it your goal to know the enemy. For in these truths are the means of defeating the Democrats and taking the country back. Take note of these truths and formulate a personal or group plan to push back against the left. We need to begin offenses on multiple fronts against the enemy, using their tactics against them.

Make it a point to illustrate these truths to your friends who see the Democrats as some unstoppable force. Never give up, never lose hope, never lose faith and stand in the strength of Almighty God. With God’s help, prayer and determination on our part, we can and will turn the tide.

DuckDuckGo vs Google

Posted in uncategorized with tags , , , on March 3, 2020 by andelino

Want to remove “Google” from your life? Here are some helpful suggestions!

Google trackers have been found on 75% of the top million websites. This means they are not only tracking what you search for, they’re also tracking which websites you visit, and using all your data for ads that follow you around the internet. Your personal data can also be subpoenaed by lawyers, including for civil cases like divorce. Google answered over 100,000 such data requests in 2016 alone!

More and more people are also realizing the risk of relying on one company for so many personal services. If you’re joining the ranks of people who’ve decided Google’s data collection has become too invasive, here are some suggestions for replacements with minimal switching cost. Most are free, though even those that are paid are worth it — the cost of not switching is a cost to your personal privacy, and the good news is we have a choice!

Google Search -> DuckDuckGo (free)
Let’s start off with the easiest one! Switching to DuckDuckGo not only keeps your searches private but also gives you extra advantages such as our bang shortcuts, handy Instant Answers, and knowing you’re not trapped in a filter bubble.

Gmail, Calendar & Contacts -> FastMail (paid)
We host @duckduckgo.com addresses on “FastMail”, an independent, paid service that also includes calendar and contacts support across all devices. There are also several ways to get encrypted email between trusted parties by integrating PGP encryption tools. Even more private email alternatives are ProtonMail and Tutanota, both of which offer end-to-end encryption by default.

YouTube -> Vimeo (free with paid options)
For videos that are only on YouTube (unfortunately, a lot), you can search for and watch them on DuckDuckGo for better privacy protection via YouTube’s “youtube-nocookie” domain. If you’re creating and hosting video yourself, however, “Vimeo” is the best-known alternative which focuses on creators.

Google Maps -> Apple Maps (free), OpenStreetMap (free)
For iOS users, Apple gives you an alternative built in via “Apple Maps”, so no installation is necessary. For wider device support, check out “OpenStreetMap” (OSM) which is more open, though may not have the same ease-of-use or coverage quality as Apple Maps.

Google Drive -> Resilio Sync (free with paid options), Tresorit (paid)
Another service we use internally, “Resilio Sync”, provides peer-to-peer file synchronization which can be used for private file storage, backup, and file sharing. This also means your files are never stored on a single server in the cloud! The software is available for a wide variety of platforms and devices, including servers. An alternative cloud storage and backup service with end-to-end encryption is Tresorit.

Android -> iOS (paid)
The most popular alternative to “Android” is of course iOS, which offers easy device encryption and encrypted messaging via “iMessage” by default. We also have tips to increase privacy protection on your iPhone or iPad.

Google Chrome -> Safari (free), Firefox (free), Brave (free)
“Safari”
was the first major browser to include DuckDuckGo as a built-in private search option. A more cross-device compatible browser is “Mozilla’s Firefox”, an open source browser with a built-in tracker blocker in private mode. “Brave” goes one step further with tracker blocking switched on by default. There are also many more browsers that come with DuckDuckGo as a built-in option.

Blogger -> Ghost (paid), WordPress (free with paid options)
Ghost is both a hosted (paid) and self-installable blogging platform, tracker-free by default and run by a non-profit foundation. We like it so much we use it for our own blog! A free alternative is “WordPress”, powering an estimated 25% of the world’s websites. It’s also available both for self-installation and as a hosted service with no third-party trackers by default. The community is huge with extensive multilingual documentation and many themes to choose from.

Google Hangouts -> Zoom (free with paid options), appear.in (free with paid option)
Zoom is a robust video chat alternative we use internally that works well even for large numbers of participants, though requires software to be installed. A web-only alternative is “appear.in” which doesn’t require an account — just go to the website to open a chat room and you’re ready.

Google Duo and Android Messages -> Signal (free)
There are several services offering private messaging but, as we’ve mentioned before, “Signal” gets our recommendation. It offers free, end-to-end encryption for both messages and private calls. It’s also recommended by Edward Snowden and renowned security expert Bruce Schneider, among others.

Google Groups -> Discourse (paid, or free if self-installed)
“Discourse” is an open source discussion platform, offering public and private conversations with a trust system and spam protection. Paid hosting is offered but the software is also freely available for administrators to host on their own servers.

As you can see, “moving away from Google” needn’t be hard. In fact, you might find you prefer the alternatives while also getting better privacy!

Social Media Influence

Social Media Influence
By: Kerby Anderson, President of Probe Ministries International.

More than a decade ago, social scientists and social commentators expressed concern about how the Internet in general and social media in particular was influencing us. Nicholas Carr raised this question in an Atlantic article entitled “Is Google Making Us Stupid?” He observed that “Over the past few years I’ve had an uncomfortable sense that someone, or something, has been tinkering with my brain, remapping the neural circuitry, reprogramming the memory.” He believed this came from using the “Internet” and searching the web with “Google.”

He later went on to write a book with the arresting title, “The Shallows: What the Internet Is Doing to Our Brains.” He surveyed brain research that helped to explain why we don’t read as much and why it is so hard to concentrate. The Internet and social media are retraining our brains. He says, “Once I was a scuba diver in the sea of words. Now I zip along the surface like a guy on a Jet Ski.”

A developmental psychologist at Tufts University put it this way. “We are not only what we read. We are how we read.” The style of reading on the Internet puts “efficiency” and “immediacy” above other factors. Put simply, it has changed the way we read and acquire information.

You might say that would only be true for the younger generation. Older people are set in their ways. The Internet could not possibly change the way the brains of older people download information. Not true. The 100 billion neurons inside our skulls can break connections and form others. A neuroscientist at George Mason University says: “The brain has the ability to reprogram itself on the fly, altering the way it functions.”

The proliferation of social media has also begun to shorten our time of concentration. Steven Kotler made this case in his Psychology Today blog, “How Twitter Makes You Stupid.”

He once asked the author of the best-selling book why he called it the “8 Minute Meditation.” The author told him that eight minutes was the length of time of an average segment of television. He reasoned that “most of us already know exactly how to pay attention for eight minutes.”

Steven Kotler argues that Twitter was reducing the time of concentration to 140 words (back when that was the word limit). He showed how Twitter was constantly tuning “the brain to reading and comprehending information 140 characters at a time.” He concluded that “If you take a Twitter-addicted teen and give them a reading comprehension test, their comprehension levels will plunge once they pass the 140 word mark.”

Not only is there a problem with concentration; there is a problem with distraction. A study at the University of Illinois found that if an interruption takes place at a natural break-point, then the mental disruption is less. If it came at a less opportune time, the user experienced the “where was I?” brain lock.

Another problem is what is called “continuous partial attention.” People who use mobile devices often use their devices while they should be paying attention to something else. Psychologists tell us that we really aren’t multitasking, but rather engage in rapid-fire switching of attention among tasks. It is inevitable they are going to miss key information if part of their focus is on their digital devices.

There is also the concern that social media and digital devices are reducing our creativity. Turning on a digital device and checking social media when you are “doing nothing” replaces what we used to do in the days before these devices were invented. Back then, we called it “daydreaming.”

That is when the brain often connects unrelated facts and thoughts. You have probably had some of your most creative ideas while shaving, putting on makeup, or driving. That is when your brain can be creative. Checking e-mail and social media sites reduces daydreaming.

These new media platforms present a challenge to us as Christians. As we use these new forms of media, we should always be aware of their influence on us. They can easily conform us to the world (Romans 12:2). Therefore, we should make sure that we are not taken captive (Colossians 2:8) by the false philosophies of the world.

Christians should strive to apply the principle set forth in Philippians 4:8. “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.”

A wise Christian will use discernment when approaching the various social media platforms. They provide lots of information and connect us with people around the world. But we should also guard against the worldly influence that is also promoted on many of these platforms.

Big Tech companies have been censoring content for many years. Many years ago, the National Religious Broadcasters began monitoring censorship on these social media platforms through their John Milton Project for Religious Free Speech. Even back then, their report concluded that “The free speech liberty of citizens who use the Internet is nearing a crisis point.”

A recent Senate hearing provided lots of additional examples. Senator Marsha Blackburn asked why her pro-life ad was pulled during the 2018 campaign because Twitter deemed it “inflammatory.” It is worth noting that she did receive an apology from the executive who added that they made a “mistake on your ad.” Senator Ted Cruz pointed to a Susan B. Anthony List ad that was banned. It had a picture of Mother Teresa with her quote: “Abortion is profoundly anti-woman.” At the top of the poster in the committee room was the word: CENSORED.

A number of commentators (Laura Loomer, Milo Yiannopoulos, Alex Jones) have been banned from Facebook and Instagram. Steven Crowder’s YouTube channel has been demonetized. Nearly two-dozen PragerU videos have been slapped with a restricted label on YouTube. The list goes on and on.

Big tech does control much of the media world. Google controls 90% of worldwide search, 75% of smartphone operating systems, 67% of desktop browser, and 37% of digital advertising. Add to this other platforms like Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube that also have a profound influence. At the Senate hearing, Ted Cruz noted that these big tech companies “are larger and more powerful than Standard Oil was when it was broken up” and “larger and more powerful than AT&T when it was broken up.” But does that mean government should get involved?

Those who are advocating government intervention make the case that “platform access is a civil right.” The argument is that private companies are actually violating the civil rights of Americans in the same way that preventing someone to speak in a public park would be a violation. They argue that the big tech companies are a monopoly. And they call for federal and state regulation of these social media platforms arguing that the Supreme Court has argued in the past that government cannot restrict your access to the public square.

The problem with that argument is two-fold. First, these big tech companies are private companies not the government. Facebook, Twitter and YouTube platforms are private property and not the public square. We may not always like what they do, but they are privately owned technology companies and not the federal government, which is governed by the First Amendment.

Second, these companies are protected by a section of the “1996 Communications Decency Act” that keeps them from being exposed to potentially crippling liability for something posted on their platform. Some politicians have called for changing that legal protection, but Congress seems unlikely to do anything like that in the near future.

Many conservatives are wary of having the government get involved in patrolling social media platforms. They remind us of the “1949 FCC Fairness Doctrine.” This regulation was supposed to provide an opportunity for media outlets to provide content that was fair, honest, and balanced. Talk radio and other forms of media exploded once the Fairness Doctrine was removed. In most cases, government regulation of the media hurt conservative voices more than helped them.

Even if government were to regulate content on social media platforms, it is worth mentioning that the major tech companies would probably have lots of influence. Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg would have a place at the table as government drafted various media regulations. It is likely that company and many others might even help craft regulations that would protect them from future competitors. We have seen this picture before in other instances when government intervened.

Some have even suggested that we close our social media accounts. If you don’t like the way the New York Times or the Washington Post reports stories or provides commentary from people on your side, you don’t have to subscribe to those newspapers. If you don’t like how MSNBC or Fox News covers stories, you don’t have to tune to that TV network. Media outlets are already choosing what to print or broadcast. Social media platforms are no different.

Sam Sweeney has this advice: “Delete your Facebook, yesterday. Don’t get your news from Twitter. The issues of free speech on social media will no longer matter to you. They don’t matter to me. I’ve made a decision not to subjugate myself to the whims of our new overloads.”

I think most of us want to keep our social media accounts because of the benefit we receive. But I also realize that in light of what we have discussed in this article, many will decide to follow his advice and drop one or more of these social media accounts. We leave that decision to you.
