For centuries, American democracy has been defined by the peaceful transition of power from one elected leader to the next. But every day since Donald Trump won an upset victory in the 2016 presidential election, his predecessor has been using every tactic possible to destroy his presidency. This has been revealed most recently in Special Counsel John Durham’s 306-page report summarizing his investigation into the Department of Justice.

Through the Federal Bureau of Investigation operation known as Crossfire Hurricane, the department spied on and investigated Mr. Trump before and after he was elected president of the United States. Durham’s goal was to find out why. Was it because there was evidence of Trump working with Russia to win the election? Or was it because of something else?

Prince Harry’s attack on the British royal family keeps getting nastier.

In December 2022 came the Netflix documentary series Harry & Meghan, in which the duke and duchess of Sussex slurred his family terribly, accusing them of racism and other evils. Even worse slanders came in January with the publication of Harry’s memoir, “Spare”, which immediately jumped to the top of several bestseller lists.

Last Wednesday morning I watched one of the most stunning bits of news commentary I’ve ever seen. It was a segment from Tucker Carlson’s show on Fox News that showed footage of Barack Obama’s first visit back to the White House after leaving office. It showed an increasingly fragile Joe Biden looking lost in his own house, while all the attention was paid to the former president. It was clear who was the most powerful man in the room, and it wasn’t Mr. Biden.

No doubt, if you have read the Trumpet for any length of time, you will know why Obama’s disrespect at the White House confirms much of our commentary from the past 12 years. The Real Fake President

Joe Biden wanders aimlessly offstage as Barack Obama takes the spotlight.

Barack Obama was back at the White House last week. This was the first time since his presidency that he has returned to the halls of power in person. He was there at Joe Biden’s invitation, ostensibly to celebrate the 12-year anniversary of the “Affordable Care Act.” But there was clearly a lot more going on than the commemoration of a socialist law that is now largely defunct.

Obama, with Biden as his vice president, pushed through the act, also known as “Obamacare”, two years into his scandal-ridden presidency. That landmark law, which the Supreme Court upheld as a form of “tax,” forced all American citizens into a socialist health-care program. It massively increased the government’s control over the health-care industry and paved the way for the eventual merger of Big Government with Big Pharma.

Trashing Free Speech

The radical left wants tech giants to censor what you watch and read.

Former United States President Barack Obama wants the government to start censoring what you watch and read. At an event co-hosted by the Atlantic and the University of Chicago last week, Obama spoke about “Disinformation and the Erosion of Democracy” with Pulitzer Prize-winning historian Anne Applebaum, Nobel Prize-winning journalist Maria Ressa, investigative reporter Adrienne LaFrance, left-wing political consultant David Axelrod and Atlantic editor in chief Jeffrey Goldberg. These six agreed that disinformation is destroying America and that the government needs to intervene.

Scandalous Legacy

Not only were scandals common in the Obama years, but they completely underpinned his entire presidency. They were the deliberate efforts of a man who pledged to “fundamentally transform America.”

The radical left has finally admitted that the New York Post’s nearly two-year-old story was accurate: “The Hunter Biden laptop scandal was real.” The New York Times “authenticated” the report in a March 16 article about Hunter Biden’s mounting legal problems. They slipped the admission in as surreptitiously as they could. Yet more scandals have emerged about Hunter Biden—and the whole Biden family.

What is the current administration’s endgame in Eastern Europe?

Barack Obama has condemned Vladimir Putin’s attack on Ukraine and called on all Americans to impose sanctions on Russia even if doing so hurts the United States economy. His statements make him sound like a strong ally of Ukraine, ready to do whatever it takes to protect innocents from harm. But there is more to this story than meets the eye. When you examine Obama’s career, you find that he has done everything in his power to encourage the current invasion.

Reshaping America

Former United States President Barack Obama famously stated his goal of “fundamentally transforming the United States of America.” In this mission, he has had many supporters. Few are more important than Larry Fink.

Fink heads one of the world’s most influential companies: “BlackRock.” This company manages $10 trillion of assets—the size of Japan’s and Germany’s annual economic output combined. As the government prints money to keep the economy afloat, BlackRock is an essential partner, managing that cash. It’s so embedded in the U.S. Treasury that Bloomberg has called it a “fourth branch of government.” Thanks to its revolving door of personnel, rotating between left-wing administrations and BlackRock corporate headquarters, it has more influence in the Treasury than any financial company in history.

Spying Operation

This is a scandal far greater in scope and magnitude than Watergate.

Hillary Clinton’s campaign employed hackers and lawyers to spy on Donald Trump at Trump Tower before he was elected president. And the campaign continued spying on Donald Trump at the White House while he was president. This revelation comes from evidence collected by Special Counsel John Durham. Clinton’s spying operation also fabricated an accusation against Trump that he had colluded with Russia to win the 2016 election.

Think about it: A presidential candidate who was defeated in a legitimate election actually hired people to breach national security and create a false narrative in an effort to steal the election after the fact!

Heartless Monster

Many people portray former United States President Barack Obama as a great man. Fox News commentator Tucker Carlson recently condemned him as a “heartless monster.” Carlson is more right than he realizes.

On October 23, Obama was campaigning in Virginia for Democrat Gov. Terry McAuliffe. Criticizing the opposing nominee and conservatives in general, he said, “We don’t have time to be wasting on these phony, trumped-up culture wars, this fake outrage that right-wing media pedals to juice their ratings—and the fact that he’s willing to go along with it? Instead of talking about serious problems that actually affect serious people? That’s a shame. That’s not what this election is about.”

What is the “phony, trumped-up” fakery that Obama was setting us straight on? The outrage of Virginians and people across the country at a school board that covered for a student rapist—who then apparently raped again.
