R.I.P. Pelé

Posted in uncategorized on December 31, 2022 by andelino

The Brazilian legend, whose real name was Edson Arantes do Nascimento, helped his country win the World Cup in 1958, 1962 and 1970, and he remains the national team’s co-scoring leader, with 77 goals in 92 matches.

Thank you, Pelé for teaching me back in 1962 how to become a top professional soccer player.

General Sherman

Russia’s war on Ukraine, now well into its 10th month, is shifting into a new phase. For the first several months, Russia was fighting what President Vladimir Putin insisted on calling a “special military operation.” A combination of hubris, bad Intel from his ranks of yes men, and being hornswoggled by his own propaganda convinced Putin that most Ukrainians would offer little resistance and many would actually welcome the Russians as liberators—with flowers and cheers. Most Russians thought this too. So they fought with a force limited to 190,000 troops and expected to capture Ukraine’s capital in days or weeks, decapitate the West-leaning government, and install a puppet regime. Easy as AБЖ.

Screen Addiction

Posted in uncategorized with tags on December 31, 2022 by andelino

In our world of touch screens and endless scroll, the inability to focus is pandemic. We touch our phones an average of 2,617 times every 24 hours. We are part of one of the most significant cultural phenomena in human history: “screen addiction.”

Our minds are being rewired to use, rely upon, and crave screens and the superficial world they display to us. Moments of peace, solitude and focus are few and far between. The quality of our thinking, the way we absorb and digest information, and the very nature of our lives is changing.

Wrecking the U.S. Economy

Posted in uncategorized with tags on December 30, 2022 by andelino

We are about to witness a dramatic tipping point in world commerce.

If you live in America, inflation and high interest rates are reducing your purchasing power and your ability to get a loan. But it’s not just affecting Americans. America’s financial decisions are affecting the whole world. The less reliable the United States’ economy is, the faster other nations work to decouple themselves from it. There will be a tipping point, however, when the rest of the world will be not only independent from the U.S. but even capable of bringing the once great superpower down. That’s why consumers in the U.S. need to be more alarmed by the world’s response to America’s policies than by their own shrinking savings or rising debts.

Regulatory Death Grip

Posted in uncategorized with tags on December 30, 2022 by andelino

Is the U.S. economy being regulated into recession?

The Republican Party is set to take control of the House of Representatives in January 2023 after years of being controlled by the radical Democrats. The Republicans are promising to curtail Joe Biden’s agenda and revitalize the economy. Yet it will prove very difficult to reverse the damage that has been done.

Mass Shootings

Posted in uncategorized with tags on December 29, 2022 by andelino

The true causes society is unwilling to face.

Do you remember the first time you heard about a mass shooting? A deranged murderer went to a crowded place, began pulling the trigger, and rapidly killed and wounded a number of people. It was a breathtaking shock to even hear of such a demonic event. Now we are used to it.

The names of these places become burned into our memories: Columbine, Virginia Tech, Stoneman Douglas High, Sandy Hook, Uvalde. The list keeps growing. According to the Mass Shooting Tracker, the horrifying Uvalde shooting was the 252nd time this year that someone in the United States wounded or killed four or more people in one outburst. At the current trajectory, we are headed for a total of 670 such shootings this year, nearly double what the mass shooting rate was a decade ago.

Twitter Gate

As suspected, Twitter employees are censoring conservatives at the “deep state’s” behest.

The ongoing release of the “Twitter Files” is exposing shocking collusion between one of the largest media platforms in the world and the federal government. And the release itself is exposing the depth of that collusion. After new Twitter owner Elon Musk announced that he would release internal files showing how Twitter’s leaders deceitfully censored people they disagreed with, it emerged that Twitter’s deputy general counsel subversively censored that release! That deputy general counsel was none other than Jim Baker, who apparently blocked information about the Federal Bureau of Investigation from being released.

Hebrew to America

On Dec. 21, 1620, a group of weary people waded ashore in a place they considered New Israel. An ocean away, they had left everything they knew behind for the sake of their belief in the Bible and the law of Moses in particular. They likened European society to Egypt, the king of England to a “British pharaoh,” the Atlantic Ocean to the Red Sea, and their epic crossing of it as a modern-day Exodus.

Britain’s Royal Family

Posted in uncategorized with tags on December 28, 2022 by andelino

The assault on Britain’s royal family is getting stronger. The latest volley comes from the duke and duchess of Sussex, who saw their new Netflix series released today.

Attacks on the royal family have become a regular feature in the news. The family is being smeared like never before. Accusations—such as links to slavery—that would have been considered absurd even just a couple of years ago are normal.

Why? These attacks are more than just gossip mongering. Britain’s royal family has a direct link to the Bible. Only that link explains these escalating attacks.
