The rise of the radical-left lawyer in the United States.

All lawyers who join the bar must pledge to support the Constitution of the United States. Perhaps no lawyer epitomized this solemn pledge in its entirety more than Abraham Lincoln. As a lawyer for over 20 years and then as president, Lincoln preserved the principles in the Declaration of Independence and Constitution. Even during the darkest days of the Civil War, Lincoln never abandoned being a guardian of the republic. He was America’s greatest president and greatest lawyer.
