The Obama Legacy

Viewers may better understand this video clip” below if they knew of the original poem “Casey at the Bat” by Ernest Lawrence Thayer in 1888, often considered one of “baseball’s” greatest writings.

“The sneer is gone from Casey’s lip, his teeth are clenched in hate; He pounds with cruel violence his bat upon the plate. And now the pitcher holds the ball, and now he lets it go, And now the air is shattered by the force of Casey’s blow. Oh, somewhere in this favored land the sun is shining bright; The band is playing somewhere, and somewhere hearts are light, And somewhere men are laughing, and somewhere children shout; But there is no joy in Mudville — mighty Casey has struck out.”

“Welfare” President Obama encouraged and enticed “disadvantaged”  people to “vote” Democrats in exchange for a “free phone.”

Thanks to the FCC-mandated, government-sponsored program, called “Lifeline Service,” the financially “disadvantaged” can receive a free government ” phone” with up to 250 free “talk minutes” per month.

An estimated “12.5 million” Americans already participate, and “tens of millions” more qualify to enroll.

With the Obama economy “falling” further and further behind, more and more “Americans” are finding themselves eligible for the “Lifeline Service” phone program.

In addition to the “free” phone, it comes with “voice mail, call waiting and caller ID.”

The process to qualify for “Lifeline Service” depends on the “State” you live in.

You qualify if you already “participate” in other State or Federal “assistance” programs such as “Federal Public Housing Assistance, Food Stamps and Medicaid.”
