Moderate Syrian Rebels

Moderate Syrian Rebels 01

The website Al Masdar News has released a “extremely graphic video” which shows how the Obama Administration “backed and funded“moderate Syrian rebels” in Aleppo “behead” a 12-year-old boy they “captured” near Handarat Refugee Camp in northern Aleppo.

The leadership of the group subsequently called the sickening killing “an individual error”; online users called it a “heinous act.”

The boy, 12-year-old Abdallah Issa, the website said, was arrested by Islamist militants fighting for the American-backed Nour al-Din al-Zenki movement for allegedly fighting for the Palestinian Liwaa Al Quds (Al-Quds Brigade).

The terrifying footage released by the captors shows the boy wearing ragged clothes, something which can hardly serve as a “proof” of his cooperation with the brigade.

Sickening footage shot immediately before the boy is “slaughtered” shows him in ragged clothes surrounded by bearded “militants” in the back of a pick-up truck.

One of them “holds” him by the hair and “slaps” him in the face. Judging by his ragged clothes and the “marks” on his arms, it appears the boy was “impoverished” and been “tortured” before he was murdered.

The boy is placed “face-down” in the back of a pickup truck with his arms “tied behind his back” when the executioner is handed a “small knife” by a fellow fighter.

To shouts of “Takbir” and “Allahu Akbar,” the executioner “saws” through the “neck” of Abdullah Issa.

In a “grisly” scene, he then holds the “head” aloft and exclaims “Allahu Akbar” several more times in typical Muslim “terrorist” fashion before jumping “down” from the SUV.

Both versions of the videos below are “censored,” so they might stay up a bit longer.

The shocking “clips” shows fighters from Nour-al-din el-Zanki telling the camera, “These are the prisoners from Liwaa al-Quds (Jerusalem Brigade – a Palestinian militia group). He [Assad] can’t stoop any lower. He sent us children today, are you sending us children?”

Referring to the prisoner, one Jihadi says, “These are the dogs of Assad. These are your people Bashar.” Another says, “We shall not leave anyone in Handarat,” the Palestinian refugee camp where a battle between “regime and rebel forces” is currently taking place.

“Liwaa Al Quds” is a pro-Syrian government Palestinian “paramilitary faction” made up of the Palestinians who have been driven out of their homes in the Handarat Camp once “Islamist militants” took over the neighborhood.

Today, the group is “fighting” alongside the Syrian Army to “retake” the camp.

“Harakat Nour al-Din al-Zenki,” part of the “Levant Front,” is an “Islamist rebel group” in Syria formed in late 2011 during the Syrian Civil War.

In December 2014, it joined the “Levant Front” and also the “Fatah Halab” operations room.

Named for Emir of Aleppo Nur ad-Din, the movement was “formed” in Aleppo to fight against the Syrian Arab Army to “overthrow” the Assad regime and “joined” the Army of Mujahideen in the war “against” the Islamic State.

The United States supplies the group with “money” and BGM-71 TOW “anti-tank missiles” during its war against “ISIS” and the “Assad” government.

The sickening ” decapitation” caused outrage in Twitter with many users wondering whether the “beheading of kids is part of the US fight for freedom and democracy.”

The US State Department said “it would give them pause” and “there would be consequences” if the gruesome video turns out to be “genuine,” further validation that there is no such thing as a “moderate Muslim anything.”

“If we can prove indeed what happened and that this group (Harakat Nour al-Din al-Zenki) was involved in it, it would give us pause about any assistance or frankly any further involvement”, US State Department Deputy Spokesman Mark Toner told reporters at a press briefing today.

“I can’t say what these consequences would be, but this certainly would give a pause and we’ll look at any affiliation or cooperation with this group,” he reiterated.

The killing was “condemned” by a number of Syrian residents.

“This is the work of criminals, and is forbidden in Islam,” Imam Mohamed Badawi railed against the killing at an Aleppo mosque.

The killing was also condemned by the opposition Syrian National Coalition, which expressed “shock at the horrific scenes” and urged the faction to follow through on its pledge to investigate and punish the perpetrators.

“The National Coalition does not condone any behavior that is contrary to the principles of the revolution and the aspirations of the Syrian people who came out to demand freedom, dignity and justice,” the statement added.

Mohamed Mansour, a resident of Al-Mashhad where the “execution” occurred has also condemned the killing.

“This is a big error and will harm all the Free Syrian Army rebel factions,” he said. “There is nothing in Islam that allows the slaughter of prisoners. Islam requires captives to be well-treated, fed and cared for.”

“Syrian Observatory for Human Rights” manager Rami Abdel Rahman told France Press, “The child is no more than 13-years old. He was arrested today in the area of Handarat, but the slaughtering happened in el-Mashab neighborhood.”

“This is one of the most terrible execution acts that I have seen since the revolution began in Syria,” he added.

The rebel group “condemned” the beheading and said it was perpetrated by “individuals” who do not represent the group. “All of the people who carried out this violation have been arrested and brought before a disciplinary tribunal,” the group said in a statement.

“The movement of Nour al-Din el-Zanki condemns the inhuman violation, since they believe in the principles and the targets of the revolution and the principle of human rights and the international agreements and the Sharia. This violation doesn’t reflect us and a one-time mistake does not reflect the general policy of the movement,” the statement read.

The group also used the statement to “blame” international actors, saying the group “holds the international community fully responsible for keeping silent about the crimes regime forces are perpetrating which represent the lowest level of barbaric crimes committed under the ears and the eyes of the world and are represented by a killing machine which slaughters thousands of citizens.”

Liwaa al-Quds denied any connection with the child. A spokesman for the group said, “We don’t recruit children, and all of our fighters wear military uniforms not civilian clothes. We are trying to locate the family of the child and find out his story and the place where he was kidnapped from.”
